My old username was "semicharmed" but I started feeling that it was dated, and I desperately wanted a change. I was stuck on what username to get, though, but I knew I wanted something music-inspired or music-related. Around the time when I got my rename token, I was listening to a lot of Sonic Youth. Mark was telling me to check out the song Sunday, which I hadn't heard before. So I gave that a listen, along with another song from the same album, Wildflower Soul. It kind of hit me on first listen, and when I checked out the lyrics I realized why.

I guess I identify with the themes of youth in the lyrics. I also read somewhere that it was Thurston Moore's song for his daughter, Coco, which also happens to be what Jenna calls me. So, naturally, awildflowersoul just felt.. me. Anyway, I uploaded the song to my Multiply if you want to hear it or download it.
