my lower jaw = pain
im now short two unerupted wisdom teeth. which means i have a mouth full of gauze, a bottle of hydrocodone, and a shitload of soft foods to eat.
on the plus side, im not in a bad mood at all (due to pain), i get to have two days off work, and i fuckin love chocolate pudding.
i dont remember the surgery at all, mainly cuz they gassed me. i came in and they asked if id like to be awake, and i was like "hell no, knock me out." so they gave me some NO2, prepped me with an IV of the good stuff, and off i went to slumberland. i woke up numb, pretty much unable to feel below my nose, but i was still chatty and whatnot, making jokes about how the effects of the gas were similar to being drunk. but a little while after i got home i started feeling exactly what the surgeon said id feel: excruciating pain. lazy as i am, i didnt go to the drugs for about a half hour after i felt the full scope of the pain. i mean, who has time to break from video games for a little pain?
