FINALLY!!
Sorry that I yell again, but FINALLY I've finished my halloween picture! Phew! That was a hell of a lot of work!
I think I spent more time on making this picture than on making my halloween video, lol. Oh, this is the video btw, in case you haven't seen it yet:

There are a lot of blondes in Fake.

I can never decide if Drake is a dark, dirty blonde or a brunette, I always write him as a brunette, from the manga I expected him to have a brownish grey hair colour, somewhere between Dee's and Ryos but slightly more gray - I don't know why I thought that, but that's the image of him I have in my head from the way his hair is shaded in the manga version.

I noticed that, too, while making the picture :D

Well I've always imagined Drake having dark blond hair - I think I could have made it a bit darker / browner in the picture... oh well. Let's say it also depends on the lighting conditions :D

I'm always wondering what JJ's natural hair colour is. Well in the OVA, his hair was a blueish grey, but I guess it's only dyed there, right? Or is he one of those manga characters who have the craziest natural hair colours, like pink or green or purple? :D

Drake's hair is an odd colour. I could be either light brown or dark blonde. I don't mind him as either, but I think I write him as a brunette because I like dark haired men ;-)

Considering that everyone else in the manga has "normal" hair colours I think that JJ dyes his. So he probably has very light hair, maybe almost white blonde (that would also match his blue eyes) but dyes it so often that no-one knows he's a blonde... except people who have seen him naked, I doubt he dyes all of his body hair. xD

White blonde hair fits JJ very good, I think. From now on, he'll be officially blonde for me! :D Blonde also matches his personality (nooo, no clichees at all).^^

Haha, so Drake is the only one at the precinct who knows that he's a blonde? :D That's so cute, such a little secret between lovers. :)

Haha, he'd have JJ's name in his phone as "Blondie" and Dee would think that he's got a secret girlfriend or something. I can't picture Drake wanting everyone to know about their relationship straight away... Drake would be the new Ryo, only it shouldn't take him as long to tell everyone. I think he'd just let them notice on their own and not deny it if they asked directly. Dee would notice first, because JJ wouldn't be pouncing him all the time if he's in a relationship.

I think Drake would be very pleased to know something about JJ that no-one else knows (especially something Dee doesn't know). I expect it would make him feel special.

I bet Dee will be very surprised that Drake finally has a long-term girlfriend. And later he'll find out that it's actually a boyfriend!

I agree that Drake wouldn't keep his relationship a secret as long as Ryo probably did. I'd imagine him being a bit shy at first, but then pretty relaxed about everyone finding out. Besides, there aren't any homophobes at the precinct - on the contrary, nearly all cops at the 27th are gay by now! :D

If I was Drake, I would most likely be a bit jealous of Dee, too, and happy when there's something about JJ that even he doesn't know, but I know about. It's very important that JJ really overcomes his love for Dee and devotes himself to Drake completely. Otherwise, it would just cause problems for both of them: JJ would still suffer a bit from unrequited love towards Dee, and Drake would be jealous and sad that JJ can't love him with his whole heart. But I'm sure that as time goes by, JJ will finally learn to let go of his love for Dee completely

I think it was very important that in Like Like Love, JJ told Drake he was giving up on Dee *before* he kissed him. It was a moving on kiss, I think moving on was something JJ had been thinking about for a while.

In series 2 he seems to be leaning on Drake a bit more - Drakes reaction to JJ joining them as a group, and JJ stalking him (and Drake being able to *sense* JJ hiding nearby when Ted can't) shows that JJ has started acting differently to Drake between the series. I'm hoping if/when Sanami Matoh continues the series that we get to see more Drake and JJ moments of them slowly coming together.

I think by series 2 Drake is probably starting to get a few uncomfortable thoughts about JJ, which is why he's a bit hesitant about wanting JJ to join them. He probably needs a bit of space to sort his head out, because once JJ has joined them again he's back to looking after him (seen in the extras when he invites JJ out to dinner when Dee turns him down).

I think they're good for each other.
