Damn, I can't believe I haven't updated my journal for almost a month! Wow!
So here's just a little update on what I'm doing right now :)
New Year Resolutions
I'm slowly starting a 100% vegan diet. Because y'know, it's better for the animals, better for the environment, better for the natural resources, and last but not least, better for me. My parents aren't very thrilled about my decision and even though they have agreed to cook vegetarian during the week, they want to eat fish and meat on the weekends, and therefore, want me to eat that too. It's a bit of a struggle to convince them that I don't want to be a half-time vegan anymore, and that I take this serious. And it's even more of a struggle to actually translate my plan to go 100% vegan into action, because I prepare lunch only one or two times a week, so I don't really have control over what we're eating during the rest of the week. But I'm trying my best.
Well, another resolution is to do more sports, which is why I started going swimming every weekend. But that's not very exciting to talk about, is it?
Youtube
Another thing that's new in 2014: my comeback to youtube! As you may have noticed, I wasn't very active there during the past few months. Especially when it came to "personal" videos or vlogs - I haven't done those in years, all I did was fanvideos. Well, now I have a few more channels where I will upload fanvideos as well as vlogs (self-filmed videos by and with yours truly). Now maybe some of you know that I already have some channels, so if you are a little confused now how many I actually have and about which topics they are, here's a little overview over my youtube-world:
UrbanArielle (
http://www.youtube.com/channel/UC8C6zpjrbN_KtEBn6j_bZbg)
My brand new "personal" channel where I'll upload anything that comes to mind. I called it UrbanArielle because my nickname is Arielle for some reason (may it have something to do with my love for sushi?). Some video ideas I have are speed paintings, lip singing, vegan recipes, tipps and tricks (e.g. for writing and drawing), comedy, but also serious videos, etc. etc. I'm posting videos every Monday. And the challenge about this channel is that I make all my videos in English. So if you ever wanted to see my face and hear my voice (including a German accent!), go check it out! :D
(EDIT: As of March 2014, this channel is not active anymore. Sorry!)
LushLawsLove (
http://www.youtube.com/channel/UCzV_Mk_NWwwmgrt0aoUV0eA)
This channel is just as new as UrbanArielle, but it's for fanvideos - fanvideos about my newest obsession called "Lush". Lush is a youtube channel of two gay boyfriends called Nick and Matthew, and they are so adorable that I just can't refrain from making videos about them! <3
BestNightcoreMusicEver (
http://www.youtube.com/channel/UCjThf-yMq-1Urffsjw1gyzA)
This channel is a bit older, and here I upload Nightcore Music. If you don't know what Nightcore means, it's basically just normal songs pitched a little higher and faster. It's simple, but it often sounds amazing - like the title melody of some anime :D
CrimzonStarz95x (
http://www.youtube.com/user/CrimzonStarz95x)
I'm sure many of you know this channel already - at least I hope so :'D It's my channel for AMVs and MMVs (= Anime Music Videos and Manga Music Videos), so basically fanvideos about animes and mangas. Or, more precisely, most of the fanvideos there are about FAKE :D So it's sort of my main channel for FAKE fanvideos, which is why I hope you, ladies and gentlemen, spend it a visit from time to time :)
Ananasbrause (
http://www.youtube.com/user/Ananasbrause)
And last but not least, this is my oldest channel on youtube. When I started making youtube videos, I uploaded pretty much everything on Ananasbrause: Personal videos, but also fanvideos about every fandom that came to mind, mostly about the German Youtube stars "DieAussenseiter", Harry Potter and FAKE. Well, most of my subscribers weren't very happy when I started making AMVs and MMVs, which is why I made CrimzonStarz95x for those videos.
Ananasbrause is pretty much a closed channel now. Well, I upload videos there from time to time, but overall, I'm not really into my first fandoms anymore, so I don't upload very often.
Oh, and speaking of Youtube...
Matthew and Nick (Lush)
Just to give you an idea of what I've been doing in the past few weeks and months, take a quick look at this channel:
http://www.youtube.com/user/lushIt's a vlog channel from and about the gay couple Matthew Lush and Nick Laws. If there was an award for the cutest couple on youtube, they'd definitely win it! And the special thing about their channel is that they basically vlog their relationship from the very beginning - that is, when youtube-star Matthew asked Nick to be his boyfriend. In my opinion, it's very brave and impressing to share such a young relationship with the world - they seem to have very much faith that it will last. (Waaah, I want a love like that!!)
Besides, they are both amazing persons. Even if they weren't cute gay boys, I'd admire them. They have basically inspired me to become more active on youtube again. They both eat vegan (which is, of course, just another motivation for me!), and every video simply radiates so much love, warmth and happiness that it's indeed addicting. Oh, and Matthew has a super cute sphynx cat named Skinny. Just thought I'd mention that for you cat lovers! ;)
Well I could go on and on and on about this, but just see for yourself. I love these boys. <3

So that's it for today, guys! Now you have a bit of a clue what's going on with me at the moment. (Of course I could tell you sooo much more - like how I'm re-furnishing my whole room, or about my newest awesome clothes, or about my current writing project and how my last finished writing project will maybe, just maybe become a book - but who the hell is supposed to read all that anyways?! xD )
So, see you guys! Bye! :)
