I just finished reading two books by Ellen Hopkins. They're called Crank, and Glass.
And after reading them, I have to point out a few things.
1. They were good. I highly recommend them. The way they are written is very well done. Mind exercising to say the least!
2. Both books are one story. Its about a teenage girl who experiences Crack from a very early age with her father, and ends up doing it through the next few years. She makes her mistakes, and pays for each of them. Finds love, and falls out of love over and over again with users/abusers and dealers.
3. I kind of saw the end coming, but hey, the book was worth it anyhow.
I give it one and a half thumbs up. But not two. Just because it was very easy reading and a "no brainer" ending. Enjoy!!!
Now I just have to buy the last book of the True Blood Series, and read it. ((True Blood starts again on June 14th!)) YAY!!
P.P.S. --Take note of my mood below. Ha ha get it? "CRANKy?" Ok, bad joke.
