I'm usually pretty quiet on communities, but I had to delurk to say damn, have you got a talent for writing voice evocatively - Joanna reminded me (because I am either subconsciously pretentious or poorly-read in Southern fiction) a bit of Scout in To Kill a Mockingbird. Fandom so rarely produces good epistolary fiction, but I was grinning through the entire thing. Thanks for sharing - I hope you write more. :)

This was amazing and beautifully written. Joanna also reminds me of Scout (glad I wasn't the only one to think that) but in a totally good way.

This is, hands down, the sweetest thing I've read in this fandom. All of the voices are so distinct, and the letters give a really wonderful picture of the characters' lives.

Please do continue this-- I'd really love to see where it goes!
