Pagan Standard Time on the Enterprise!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! HEEE!

Also, this totally made me get misty. I'm not dealing well with being away from home this holiday weekend, and this...this is what I would like to have. I'm just glad I get to have it (or something very close) at the New Year.

I know, right?

We project into the future our hopes and fears. This is my hope - that we can come to a place that we can all sit at a table and share a meal, not in spite of our differences, but rather to celebrate that which makes us each uniquely ourselves.

I know exactly what you mean about people of Science and people of Faith, but (oddly enough) I didn't think about it at all when writing this. It's just how I live my life. I'm both a scientist and a person of faith and to me, these things are not mutually exclusive in the least. I weary of the atheist scientist who assumes that just because he has not had a divine experience that the divine experience does not exist. It's crap science, if you ask me. All you can say if you have not had a divine experience is that you have not had a divine experience. You cannot say that another person has or has not had a divine experience because you are not inside their brain and can neither prove nor disprove it.
Thank you much for reading this and so glad you liked it.

That's very true. Plus to me science just makes sense and I think it should be used to prove what faith teaches.

That's not exactly the approach I take, but each should bolster the other, yes.

hooray!
I don't know which holiday(s) you're excited about, but I reckon it doesn't matter any. Happy holidays and may your deity or deities of choice be with you.
