Updates that are not very interesting
Most excitingly, I read, and finished "Jane Eyre" which surprisingly I'd never read before. I was missing out. What a book! It actually makes me want to go back and re-read "Middlemarch" because I didn't enjoy "Middlemarch" very much. I decided to read it because a) as I mentioned in my last post I was in want of books to read, and b) was shown a trailer of a movie adaptation coming out this spring.
Thanksgiving was not too exciting, I made some bread and a pumpkin chickpea stew which was pretty tasty. Also made three pies but it ended up there were other desserts too, so the pies have mainly been sitting around, which is fine. The most exciting part of the pies was that two of three had liquor in them. Oh, I guess the only other relatively exciting thing was that for the first time in who knows how long, I wore colored tights--as in a shade that was not black, beige, grey or brown. They were kind of burgundy and I actually really like them. Who knew I could like clothes with color?
