Summer just feels like something new.

I want to be just like her.
And sometimes
I pretend to myself that I already am.
Braids and ribbons and black lace.
But with the face of innocence.
I don't know where all my friends have gone lately.
I'll find them.

I smell like the sun, burnt and dirty but
it's okay because I like it that way.
