I watched 20 minutes of commercials at a "bible study" last night.

I should be going to work right now, but I'm gonna write this instead.

Last night I ran in to a girl named Chantelle.  I used to work with her at target way back in 1995.  I hadn't seen her since then until about a month ago.  I saw her getting in or out of her car as I was driving on the road.  I recognized her right away.  She was 21 when I met her, 30 now, but really doesn't look like she has aged a day.  I prayed for her as I was driving. (yes, my eyes were still open)

I got to talk to her last night at a "bible study".  I say that with quotes cause that's what it's called, but they don't use the bible much.  She had hers though, it looked barely used.  As a few of the people that sat around us talked about certain scriptures, she was like "I want to be able to do that, I want to knwo what you guys know."  So of course I had to invite her to a real bible study.  :)

I really enjoyed talking to her and catching up, and seeing how pumped she was about learning the Word, and living for the Lord.  She's currently engaged, but struggling, because he's not a believer, and doesn't want to have anything to do with church.  She's in a tough place, but God's in control, I'll just have to keep praying for her.  Oh wait, I don't mean "HAVE to", I mean "GET to".
