It's raining again. It's been raining a lot lately. I think it's kind of strange, back home people are praying for rain, and here we're all sick of it.
Things are never simple. Where would the fun in that be? Yes, it seems like things would be easier, life would be less stressful, relationships would be more clear, but things are never simple. The hard times are going to come, there's no fighting it. The hard times make you want to pull your hair out, make you want to give up on things, make you want to just shut down for a while. It's true, no one likes going through trials and tribulations, but you will and you have to. It's thoughs trials that show who you really are. It's the worst times in your life that you grow the most. That's when you discover what is truly important to you and where your priorities really lie. No, I don't go up against a new challenge thinking, "oh goody! a brand new learning experience!". That would just be silly. But there is a different sort of mind set. I don't despair. I just keeping walking through life, one foot in front of the other the best I can.
