Writer's Block: Heart to Heart
I do have to admit that there's some aspect of me actually liking the attention of Valentine's Day. Although as everyone else has mentioned, that it has become just a cheap ploy to get everyone cards, gifts and chocolate and it does make the single people dislike the day as they don't really have anybody to share it with. But if it makes the single people feel any better: I didn't have a really good Valentine's Day this year. You know, being that my partner was pretty much too tired to get anything this year - being that he had to work 22 hours at work beforehand and I got my goddamned monthly cycle. So you better believe me when I say that I was PISSED.
Plus I didn't get a card or a teddy this year, but I did get a pretty neat rose though (and ohmygod, it's still alive and smells great still! Haha). Oh and we managed to go out for dinner, waited like an hour, had it set to take out 'cause I went to the bathroom and discovered my worst nightmare had come back.. And yeah. Pretty much that sums up my Valentine's Day for 2009.
Hope everyone else managed to have themselves a good day - or better than mine anyway.
