Rules Of Conduct
You know the drill. All communities need rules. Rules are what make things tolerable and manageable. Awesomely Stupid is no different. So without further ado, your glorious rules!
I. If a member controls them, they are welcome to join and post in the community. Posts can be of any topic, and for any reason. They can serve as a private journal for your characters or as a means of interacting with the characters of your fellow mundanes.
II. Even if you are not a member, your characters are welcome to comment on the posts of member-controlled characters. The point of this community is to keep muses that members and non-members are unable to commit to a full-time game active enough that they don't go silent. And to provide a stress-free, requirement-free atmosphere to connect to these muses.
III. Do not post with personal journals. There are only two exceptions to this rule. This post is to be the only post made with a personal journal, and it's sole purpose is to explain the structure and rules of the community. Another post will be made to keep track of the Muses of the members, which will be linked to further down in this post. You are welcome to comment with personal journals, but posting to the comm with them is a big no-no.
IV. Please tag all posts with your name. This is to keep things nice and organized. For example, say ladynyoko makes a post with one of her muses. She would tag the post with "[mun] ladynyoko". (If the community gets big enough, tags for canons may eventually be instituted.)
V. There is no rating. That means anything goes. If you are not prepared for this, then kindly move yourself elsewhere. As a general note, I will not require the members to post warnings, but they are appreciated.
VI. There is no setting. No, that does not mean your character is suspended in a void of nothingness. What this means is you can alter the setting to suit the needs of each individual post. Does your post look like it could use a hot tub? By all means, add one!
VII. Respect others. This is pretty self-explanatory. There will be absolutely no tolerance for any type of discrimination. Het, yaoi and yuri are all welcomed in this community.
VIII. No god-modding. You can not control another mundane's character by any means unless you have received permission from the other player. Even if the character's canon makes them almost as powerful as a god, they do not have permission to hurt or kill other characters. Don't make them perfect and exempt them from getting injured, outwitted, etc.
IX. Out Of Character Drama is not cool. It is what destroys wonderful communities and sets members at each others' throats. This is meant to be a friendly, open community. We don't want to see it torn apart by drama that could have been prevented. If you feel there is a problem that could cause drama in the future, please try to resolve it or explain the situation to a moderator and have them resolve it for you.
X. If you have anything to say to the us moderators, say it to us up front. We won't threaten to kick you out, we won't bitch at you, and we absolutely will not be discourteous to you, so long as you are courteous to us. We're going to be the best mods we can for you guys, and being bitchy, unfair mods that don't like to talk isn't our idea of good modding, so please, talk to us if you want! We won't bite!
XI. Membership is primarily invitation only. What does that mean? Unless applications for membership are open, the only way to become a member of the community is to be invited to it by another member.
XII. On the topic of Invitations, please make sure the person you are inviting is capable of following all the rules before you extend the invitation. Once the invitation is extended, please make sure you notify one of the moderators by posting the Invitation to join here. The person invited is then requested to comment under their Invitation with the muses they would like to bring under the name they were invited as.
XIII. Have fun! That's the driving purpose behind creating this community. To make a place where friends could gather with their muses and have fun. If you aren't having fun, feel free to contact a moderator and see if they can help you out.
On The Name
Now some of you may be wondering about the community name. "Why 'Awesomely Stupid'? Isn't that a bit insulting to yourself?" Well sure, but if you can't laugh at yourself you take life too seriously. But the real story behind the name involves a quote said by Demyx in the game Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days.
"You ever get the urge to just do something stupid...and AWESOME? Wait, wait... I'm getting an idea... Nope, it's gone."
This quote is by far one of the most hilarious and curious quotes thus far in all the games combined. And, inspired by it, the maintainer decided to name the community Awesomely Stupid. (Since Awesome And Stupid was one letter too long.)

Invitations
So you want to invite a friend? Look no further! All you have to do is tell them about the comm, and then post something along the lines of "I would like to invite so-and-so to join Awesomely Stupid!" right here. Then, the person invited replies to your post with the names of the muses they'd like to join the community with.
Example:
Nyoko posts: I would like to invite Waffles to join Awesomely Stupid!
Waffles replies with: I will accept the invite! I'd like to join Awesomely Stupid with Cissnei!
Get the idea? Well go invite people!
