so...in honor of seeing all the bond movies on amc in the past month or so, ive decided to do my james bond awards.

Best Theme Song- Live and Let Die. any movie with paul mccartney doing the theme song automatically wins.

Best game played with the main enemy- Backgammon (octopussy) it certainly seems that 007 knows how to play EVERY GAME EVER. and he is proficient in just about everything.

Best Enemy- there is plenty of argument about this, but i say that it is fransisco scaramanga (the man with the golden gun). he is the most diabolical of them all, in my opinion.

Best Henchman- OddJob (goldfinger). no more needs to be said.

Best Opening Sequence (before the title song)- Goldeneye

Worst Movie- Never Say Never Again. not a real bond movie in most peoples opinions, and it is essentially just the reprocessed version of the movie "thunderball".

Worst Bond- Timothy Dalton. now, i cant be as hard on tim as i used to be. the movies that he did (the living daylights, license to kill) were'nt terribly interesting or well written...and most of the original cast had been replaced at that point...but the way he looks and sometimes acts, he remains the most true to the james bond of old.

Best Book- The Man With The Golden Gun

Best Movie- This is a painstakingly difficult desicion. but the only really plausable answer is dr. no. its the first in the series, and sean connery is incredible in it. he is the embodiment of bond and shows it rather well. the first is most definitely the best in this situation.

ok, discuss!!
