She really is sweet... she's a good companion.

I never really bothered to call the humane society because there didn't appear to be any other dogs there... the woman was a horse breeder. I'm thinking she was gonna try to sell dogs too and it just didn't work out the way she'd hoped.

How is life treating YOU? Did you work everything out with your boyfriend?

Well, I'd say you have good reason to not be updating! Adopting a new dog, getting scalped, helping Brian buy a condo. That's quite a lot of craziness in your life!

Angel reminds me of my dog Spot. He was very much the same way in that he was terrified of everything but ended up being the world's best and sweetest dog. It took him months to wag his tail and I think we had him almost a year before he ever barked.

I, too, wish you a speedy recovery. I guess if you have a bald spot you could always get hair transplants, huh? :-)

She had her tail in between her legs for the first month I owned her. Its sad to think how cruel some people really are.

I thinking (hoping) that it wont come down to a hair transplant, but it's a distinct possibility that that could be the case.

I am so glad to hear that you are OK. It looks like a devastating accident and a brain injury to boot. I write about these accidents for personal injury lawyers...

Things are kind of crazy, actually. Everything is just happening all at once and I have no control over any of it, so I just have to deal. But it's nothing like what's been going on with you.

Lately I've just been surviving.
