WHY ISN'T ANYONE ALLOWED TO VENT IN THEIR JOURNALS ANYMORE?
Wtf. This is a journal. its a place online where you can type out your feelings and your friends can say "hey man, its alright, I've been there". Its a place for incouragement, and for people to get to know each other and most of all, a way to expose yourself to other peoples thoughts and feelings so that we can all realize that the world doesn't revolve around us and that there's whole world of people who have thoughs and feelings just like we do.
People constantly say that is cowardly to go online and be pissed off, or be overly emotional about something, then go back to your life in the real world and pretend to be normal.
Its down right rude and inconsiderate to read someones thoughts and feelings and tell them they're wrong for putting it there. or that they're wrong for feeling that way.
How can one be a coward when they've got their picture in the right hand corner, and they've got their name on the journal, and everyone reading knows who it is? How can someone be considered a coward, when they KNOWINGLY say how they feel, regardless of who's going to read it and how many people are going to get offended by it.
I always see these people online, saying 'your a coward for going online and saying all of this shit instead of saying it to my face'.
I want to see one of you 'brave' people actually come offline and talk about how cowardly we're being online. out of the lj fights I've had and the confrontations I've had online, not one of you people who have called me and my friends cowards online have ever called me, or have ever said it to OUR faces. If you believe I'm such a coward for putting my feelings online, why don't you express your own feelings OFFLINE? If expressing yourself online is cowardly and online journals are made for expressing yourself, why haven't any of you 'brave' people closed your livejournal accounts? Why haven't you picked up the phone, and just been emotional with everyone on your friends list, no matter how mad you are, or how hurt your feeling?
