Last night, Lilly got stabbed. It gets a little hazy after that, but she's fairly sure that she's going to live... as much as she generally does

"Hey, gorgeous," Logan says, popping his head in. "Your note was uh, little on the vague side. So you're stabbed but fixed-ish?"

"Yes and yes. Hi Logan."

Lilly frowns at him, confused.

"If you got all that from my note, why are you saying it was vague?"

[obligatoryass]

"You took newspaper," Logan says, rolling his eyes. "It's the five Ws, right? Or the five Ws and the H. Whatever. Who, what, when, where, how and why. I mean, I got the what - stabbing and fixed-sort of - but other than you, no whos, and totally none of the other things."

Lilly sighs heavily.

"Details."

She points down at the gauze bandage peeking out from under her shirt.

"That's where. When was last night. Uh, who... I have no idea. Some girl with a twitchy knifin' hand. She kinda freaked. I have no idea why. I guess maybe you shouldn't walk around the woods without a big flashlight.

And maybe body armor."

[obligatoryass]

"Yeah, I've heard that. Between the werewolves, demon bunnies and twitchy knifey girls, I think I'll skip moonlit walks around here, thanks."

He eyes the bandage with some concern, then looks up at her face again. "But seriously, you're OK?"

"Yeah. Well. Mostly."

Lilly sighs again, less theatrically this time.

"You know why I was out back?"

[obligatoryass]

"Not even a hint of a clue," Logan says. "I'm all ears."

[awesome_lilly]

"Checking on my horse. I have a horse now."

Lilly smiles a little crookedly.

"Actually, I have Peter Pevensie's horse, as he, Lucy, Edmund, and Tirian have all ditched bar for heaven. But, you know. I got some lovely consolation prizes."

Logan softens. "Oh, Lilly," he says softly. "I knew Caspian had gone, but I didn't know...I didn't know all of them had. I'm so sorry."

"Enh."

Lilly shrugs, somewhat carefully.

"It happens. It's going to keep happening. I'll deal... and next time that hopefully won't involve getting too close to the edge of the Dreaming and getting stabbed."

[obligatoryass]

"Seriously," Logan says, nodding. "I'd think motherhood would have made you more responsible. You've still got the kidlets, right?"

Lilly groans.

"Yeah. Still got them. Puck has them while I'm all stabbed, though. Thank god."

Maternal feelings have not quite wormed their way into Lilly's heart yet, but surely they will soon!
