It was supposed to be a quiet evening in theory. Adelaide had managed to send the drone children to the bed and had resolved to spend the night peacefully with a glass of a wine. Stretched out in the armchair that had been marked as Finas's she was making a dent in the bottle of wine she'd opened when the door was slammed shut.
Her 'husband' was home. Joy.
Scowling at the interruption of her evening, Adelaide got up with her wine glass still in hand and padded barefoot into the hallway and leaned against the doorframe. She was only wearing a short black slip being as it was the only thing that came close to her preferred little black dress.
Replied curtly as he turned to face her. ...Tch, did she have to dress so inappropriatly? He's averting his gaze with a disgruntled sigh, rolling up the sleeves of his shirt. He just want to have a seat and read, to forget this evening to the best of his ability. So he'll just ignore her as he walks by to go to his chair...
Rolling her eyes as Finas brushed past her, Adelaide turned and watched him go into the sitting room, straight to his chair.
"It doesn't have your name on it." She said dismissively as she walked back into the living room. Perching on the arm of the loveseat, Adelaide took a sip of the wine and didn't look the least bit repentant.
It was a risk, pushing Finas while she was still human and he seemed... irritated. Which was strange since Finas was generally very composed. "You have a lovers tiff?" She drawled.
"I've used it ever since I came here, and as the custom for this era, that chair belongs to the man of the house. Sorry, darling that isn't you."
Why yes he was in a mood, and he is taking his seat in his chair. Legs crossing as he leans back, pinching the bridge of his nose. "Enough, Adelaide. Not tonight."
