Hi! I'm sitting at home being boreded. But I am now have finally gotten Wicked. Its good...kind of.
They all have really good voices, especially Glinda and Elphaba. And, um the music isn't amazing knock-your-socks off good. Its good, but not great.
And I really really liked Defying Gravity. And Popular.
I just didn't get the plot that well. I mean, the witches are in school together, in Shizz. And then they go to the Emerald City...and then they see the wizard. And then all of a sudden Elphaba hates the Wizard and his rules? Wha? I really didn't get it. But then the citizens of Oz hunt down Elphaba and kill her. The End. And Elphaba gets Fiyero. Hmmmm. And Boq gets that ellawhatsherface in the wheelchair. And for some unapparent reason Elphaba went against her "im not that girl" song and galinda took it up?...
Yes. I definitely need to talk to someone to get more info. But I kinda liked it. Not as much as Les Mis tho. I will never have out of my head the way Javert sings RETURN FOR YOUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU TWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOFOURSIXOHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOONNNE
That was definitely my fav thing about Les Mis. Javert. I like the story for Les Mis a lot more. Ionno if I liked the music more. Its a tossup. both good.

yeah. well i goofed around and did school today. history repeats itself yet again...when will i break this never-ending cycle?
now i get to sit at home by myself all nite. my sister has a dress rehearsal in Tacoma for her symphony, Zach and Beth are going to some music thing. so now my parents are gone taking them there. *yawns* so i will practice piano and eat dinner...and listen to Wicked some more. Mebbe I'll understand it better if I listen to it a second time.
yay for Christmas music and the Chipmunks and, um, what else is good around Christmas? ooh those peanut-butter balls my mom makes. And toffee and fudge and christmas cookiez and EGGNOG!!!! and getting ahead on schoolwork. the getting ahead part, not the schoolwork.
yay for the Strangerhood. if you haven't seen them yet..then do so immediately.

And there's this guy named Tovar...well. just go see them for yourself. it makes fun of TV reality shows. episode 2 is the best.
