An invitation

Mizuki-kun, I am sure you are keen to advance to Sole this year. Since you never will will want to examine your new sleeping arrangements when this happy day occurs and hell freezes over, may I extend an invitation of tea in my rooms? I am sure you are aware that I am currently in search of a butler, while I believe yours is still in need of ( Read more... )

How absolutely hospitable of you, Atobe-kun~ I'd love to come visit, and I'm sure Yuuta-kun will be happy to oblige. Of course, your recent interest in him may make him nervous, and he's prone to breaking porcelain, but, since you're being kind enough to invite us, I'm sure he'll do his best. When shall I come over?

May I suggest Saturday night? Sole will be attractively quiet since Saeki and Bane will doubtless be missing.

Saeki, I am sure you would not object to me borrowing your tea service? I cannot see you using it over the weekend.

Saturday sounds lovely. And should Saeki-kun be unwilling, I'd gladly bring one of my own tea sets; I have quite a few of them.

How charming. I was trying to save your possessions from anymore damage let alone my own so let us both hope Saeki is willing. Of course, if he is not, doubtless Fuji-kun will be waiting just outside the door and could bring us his set himself.

How considerate of you. Of course, considering it is my butler of whom we're speaking, it's likely that my belongings will be in danger of damage on any other given day, so it hardly matters. And... of which Fuji-kun are we speaking, and why would either posses a tea set? I was unaware that it was a necessity for servants. Not to mention the idea of Fuji Syuusuke eavesdropping is... simply unimaginable.

Ah yes, I was wanting to mention that. Having two "Fuji-kun"s is intolerably confusing. I am sure you'll agree that to mistake one for the other would be unsatisfactory. Perhaps, then, you could refer to your butler by a different name? I was thinking that "Fuji-omocha" might suit him well?

That said, I was in this instance referring to Fuji Syuusuke who I believe is not remotely above eavesdropping in situations involving his brother and who has access to Saeki's tea service, if not his own.

[ooc: "omacha" means children's toy in Japanese XD Atobe is referring to how Mizuki might treat Yuuta in order to wind up Fuji~]

Cute, Atobe-kun, very cute. I believe I'll stick with Fuji-kun for now and simply refer to either my own or Saeki-kun's, but you're welcome to call him whatever you wish, though he is rather sensitive on the matter.

Yes, my earlier comment was facetious. And I'd still like to know how you know that Fuji-kun owns a tea set. Do you make a habit of taking tea with the serving class, Atobe-kun? I'd never have guessed.

[ooc: I do have a small grasp on Japanese, and I giggled when I saw that. XD; Mizuki's giggling on the inside, too, but you know, have to keep up appearances in case Yuuta sees the comment XD;]

I genuinely do not know or care whether Fuji-kun owns a tea service. I do believe he has access to Saeki's and that is the limit of my interest. Your obsession with tea services is disturbing.

If you are not enamored with Fuji-omacha, maybe Mizuki-chan would suit? I know you like to emphasize your ownership of the boy to all parties.

I see. Well, I'm glad we're clear, then. It just seems that you're so interested in the Fuji family these days, I was curious as to how intimate your knowledge was. But if borrowing Saeki-kun's tea service is going to result in Fuji-kun eavesdropping, I think I'd prefer to use my own. The idea of the former is... disturbing.

You have a real knack for nicknames, Atobe-kun. If your goal is to make Fuji Syuusuke squirm, I'm quite sure you're succeeding, but I think I'll pass on this option too, seeing as I've not quite come to wedding my servants, despite the fact that he is mine and will be staying that way. Again, you're welcome to call him as you please, though I've noticed he takes a dislike to being referred to as "Fuji's little brother."

If using your tea service is simple, then let us do so. I wouldn't wish to cost you the significant entertainment of picking one out. I doubt, however, that it will have an affect on any eavesdroppers in the vicinity unless it comes complete with door sealants to muffle emergent noise.

A shame, that. I suppose there's no helping it then, though you seem less than concerned.

I refuse to concern myself with the activities of butlers. Since barging into my rooms would be an unacceptable broach of etiquette, I cannot see it affecting our evening.

As much as it pains me to concede so, I suppose you're right. Seeing as I plan on divulging no secrets, I can't say it would affect me much whether anyone might be listening or not.

Quite so. And it is not your secrets I hope to learn.

Well, then, I'll be seeing you on Saturday evening, Atobe-kun. I do look forward to it.
