The photography exhibition I attended on Friday night was most impressive. I would recommend this artist to others who have an interest in such things. Fuji-kun, I thank you for the gift of the invitation to attend.

And so it transpires Fuji's interest in photography is not limited to the amateur scene. The fact he chose to share this clandestine part of his life with me is surprising and, I admit, highly touching. In many ways, I would wish to discuss this turn of events with others, but it does not feel acceptable to reveal a long-hidden secret so unexpectedly shared with me. There is only one person who I can talk of this with.
