"Hi honey,
I guess I'm not giving PT anymore because we are doing a Chief of Staff run that day. I just found out... We'll see if I can make the run. Sometimes they do like 7 miles. But thanks for the suggestions... maybe I'll use them next time I have to give PT cuz I know my turn is coming up soon. I took out $300 for tithing, but I won't be taking any more out until next paycheck... unless something comes up of course. How have you been? Tomorrow is Mercedes 1st day at the daycare center. I love you. Hope you are doing well."

Saturday I finally mailed the care package out to Chris. I bought some books and toys for Mercedes.. and didn't do much else. Sunday was the more interesting day. Mercedes woke me up at 5.. I never get to sleep past 5 anymore, even on the weekend. It took me until around 6 to actually get up and make her a bottle though. I tried to feed her until 630 but she was being fussy. After that is kinda hard to remember... I stood up (still holding her) and I guess I wasn't standing up very well. I remember the room looked a little wobbly. When I closed my eyes to blink, I don't remember opening them again. I know I didn't drop the baby.. she made a noise that made me open my eyes and I was holding her funny. I guess I blacked out for a couple seconds. That's what happens when you barely get sleep for an entire week. I did manage to get her to sleep again at 9 and we both took a 2 hour nap. I went to church.. Mercedes was good until the last half hour or so. I left early and something else unusual happened. I was driving back home on a 2 lane highway. I was in the right hand lane going the speed limit. This old guy pulls up next to me on the left... and then decides he wants to exit, so he just kinda starts drifting into my car. Luckily there was that section of road after the exit (with the white bumpy things) that I sped up and got onto so I didn't die. I do not know how this guy didn't see me.. My husbands car is white and large. Anyway, I'm so glad he didn't hit me because that car is not insured while he's deployed.. I only drive it to church to get it warm once a week and church is only 2 miles from home. I just hope they don't try to send me overseas for any of these summer pre-deploying exercises because I can't imagine leaving Mercedes with someone else for a week, 2 weeks, a month, etc.
