Memorial weekend
This 4 day has so far been all confusing. It's boring but I'm not sure how much I'm physically able to do yet. I'm going to try and see the doc on Tuesday, if my new unit will let me. Went to Grandma Eileen's funeral on Friday. I'm glad I was able to pay tribute to her, what a good person. I was sad to hear of her passing, but at least it wasn't a complete surprise. Saturday was spent with Chris watching X-men, me sleeping on his shoulder. That night we went to Lucy's BBQ.... it was okay, I'm not the biggest fan of hanging out with work people on the weekends but at least Lexie and April were there... spraying me with squirt guns. I'm glad it was a good turnout because it was basically just me and Chris at her birthday and I felt pretty bad about that. Today was church and being extremely lazy. Chris made me food and now he's naping. I may work on my scrapbook here before long. The weather forecast shows cloudy skies tomorrow, but at least there aren't supposed to be showers! Chris bought some snack food and we are planning Memorial day on a boat with just the lake and the fish. He bought me a pole today and I can't wait to use it. Other than seeing if I'll still be available for deployment this summer... not too much is going on.
