Wow...
So it's been almost a year since I've written in this thing. I sort of traded in good ol' LiveJournal for the crazy blogging world of My Space. That and I thought I'd forgotten my username :) What the reason never was was not having anything interesting to talk about. A lot has happened over the past several months...some good and some bad. I've done a lot of growing in certain aspects of my life and I still have some growing to do in others. Who doesn't though, right?
I'm entering my second year at ASU and I don't really know how I feel about it. Last year, it was amazing. I had these new friends, I was "out on my own", and I was growing up. But that year came and went by just as fast as senior year had gone. Those friends that I had...well...I don't really know what to think of that situation. I won't elaborate but...let's just say I'm not real sure where we stand as far as our friendships go which saddens me but..such is life. As far as academics go, I sucked in a major way. I didn't really attempt to establish a strong start at college and it's been hard picking up the pieces and fixing it but I'm doing it. One good thing about not being in the dorms this year is not having to deal with the distractions and people all the time.
My new job is amazing as far as the social scene goes. I've made some really, really good friends at Monti's and I wouldn't trade my experiences with them for anything. I may not always like having to work there but the people make it worth the shitty tips...for the most part. :)
Boy wise- well. Let's not go there. haha There wasn't any improvement since Rob which is sad but I figure everything happens for a reason. I'm assuming if I was meant to be taken, I would be. It's college and I'm 19..what is the rush? I'm having fun meeting new people and being single. That's not to say if it came my way, I'd turn my back on it though :)
Anyway- that's just a quick update. I'll try and get into writing in here more often since this is way more private than my MySpace blog and people won't read this and go off on little tangents.
