Twisted Factory is a small web based adult company shooting in Oakland, CA. We shoot girl/girl and boy/girl fetish material where either the male or female is bound.
We are currently looking for a Videographer for our adult BDSM video shoots. Video shooting experience is required. You will be using the Canon XL1S with the 3x wide lens so it is greatly preferred if you have experience with this camera. We expect to be changing to HD in the next few months (Canon H1 or A1) so general knowledge of video cameras is necessary.
Your duties will include:
Shooting both boy/girl and girl/girl bondage/bdsm shoots.
Setting up lights (including mafer clamping them up in high places, climbing ladders, etc).
Maintaining and cleaning equipment, etc (lights, cameras, changing bulbs in lights.)
Assisting director in untying bound models and sometimes helping with PA duties (shuttling models to hotel, picking up lunch, etc)
Heavy lifting will be required at times (ladders, models, props, etc)
You need to be a quick learner, have a sense of urgency when shooting (there is limited time when a model is bound), be open minded and be fast moving when it comes to set up, break down and assisting the director. You must be able to move quietly and frame video well. You must be able to grasp that we shoot and edit in a linear style (ie. we do not change the order of shots in editing, thus you must not jump cut, etc). You must be able to take feedback from director's and immediately "make it happen".
You have a current drivers license and a car that can seat 2 additional people.
Please do NOT send me a list of equipment you own, etc. I am interested only in serious, hard working applicants that are reliable and have no attitude. The pay scale offered is not negotiable.
Lunch is always provided on full shoot days (2 shoots in a day), water and soda are always on hand.
Pay:
$20 per hour when being trained part time (May/June) in our shooting style (by our current videographer).
$25 per hour once full time and are our head videographer (f/t position begins July 14th)
You will be paid weekly on a contractor basis initially.
Please feel free to ask any questions in your application.
