To make a long story short, I put a prayer up on the message board.

I was once told that babies can go to hell. What happens when a mother aborts her child? I know she will go to hell, but what of the baby? It was just a victim in the devils cruel game. Lord, please shed some light on this for me."

i am a indian student doing my MBA in India itself. i did read u're query and had to admit that i had the same questions once. The actual open answer is that nobody knows, but i'll let u know what i feel in regard to this.
In the bible its said about acceptance of God, immersion baptism, holy ghost, rependence, sharing his cup etc all which have to be personally involved to accept and understand God to be worthy of deliverance.
Also i have heard from a preacher about inherent sin or the sin in birth.... this include stubbornness, lying etc which are found from birth naturally. a pride heart, a lying tongue is all abomination to god.... its the rod that tames a kid into the way he should rightiously be.
is there any differentiation between a christian baby, a cloned baby, an implanted baby or a terrorist's kid towards direct salvation ?? A christian kid is no christian by birth, remember.
i therefore don't think a baby's soul is accepted in heaven. What were we before birth? - we were totally "non existent". Similarily i guess the same status would be the result, if death occurs in birth."
