Hahaha, thanks to you I’ve now played that cupcake game! Lots of fun!

“Yes,” Sherlock said. “I see you're prepared to assist.” He tapped his face to indicate the goggles on her own.

Adorable!!! I love love love Sherlock with Abby. And now he includes her in the family umbrella, “to be protected and loved by him,” squee! It’s really delightful how Abby’s personality is starting to come out more now that she’s older-that perfectionism streak when she’s tired, her generally cheerful and gung-ho demeanor, her determination to be useful, her taste in clothing (her goggles, aww)...

Sarah usually rang on her lunch break, and John left the children at the table to answer the phone.

Cheeky!!!

And of course the real question with this story is...who was stuck with the washing up? :) Either way, it was well worth it to entertain Abby for the day and help to narrow down a suspects list. Lovely!!!

Hee! Yes, it's a bit addictive, I'm afraid. I'm sort of a time management game nut.

I'm having a lot of fun learning about Abby as she grows up. I'm sort of letting her decide for herself, instead of guiding her, and she's a bit different than I was expecting. But it's a lot of fun.

Thanks for commenting! I'm glad you enjoyed it. :-)

Aww! So much fun! I can really imagine Sherlock coming to like a small person who likes him.

And one who has stopped napping at the age of three. Ugh. I know that kind. They really still need naps but won't take them!

Sarah is awfully understanding. And John presumably does all the cleanup.

He's actually surprising me a little, but he's very enthusiastic about teaching her things. I think it must be nice for him to be able to be passionate and not have the person listening go, 'uh-huh...'

I distinctly remember refusing naps. I hated naps. I only went to kingergarten in the afternoons, so we didn't have naptime at school, but I imagine I would have been livid to have to lie down.

Sarah is awfully understanding. And John presumably does all the cleanup.

Sarah considers herself 'resigned', not understanding. And, oh yes, John is totally on washing up duty. He let it happen, he has to clean it up.
