Woke up early, and Spencer and I still managed to sleep in. Went over to Empire Nursery, which only slightly resembled something between complete serenity and Heaven itself, to pick up some new flowers to plant in our garden (this was our planned project for the day). While we were there, I also saw the largest statue of Siddharta the Buddha I've ever seen...and felt compelled to meditate there for about 10 minutes (didn't have a lot of time, as that was not my reason to be there).
Then, we worked on our garden for quite some time, and saw an old friend of ours who we hadn't seen in quite some time. While the garden is still in it's regrowth process, it looks much better than it did before. It was amazing to just have a nice, peaceful day of productivity with the girl I'm entirely in love with for our house.
After that, we went over to my family's house, which is always a good, relaxed time, to eat fucking amazing food and wait to pick some friends of ours up for the show at Black Bean/Clo's.
The show was a total blast. I saw friends of mine I hadn't seen in ages, made good with a couple people that I had some hard times with, and made new friends. It was also great to see Resilience again, since I hadn't seen them in a while. And while myself and everyone else there totally fucked shit up for them (the front of the stage was torn apart, plank by plank, by the end of the night), it was cute as fuck to be able to go throw down in the pit, climb over sweaty bodies to sing my throat out with fist in air, and then come off for a bit to go make out with my girlfriend. I went home exhausted but feeling completely alive, and still had amazing sex before taking a shower, curled up with Spencer, and completely professed my utter undying love for everything about her for the millionth time before going to bed. What a fucking fantastic day. It doesn't get any better.
Today, we haven't seen each other much, but for awhile now I've been cleaning house so that she can more comfortably cook dinner (she's insisted on cooking tonight). I love having the house to ourselves. It's seriously been the most amazing experience to possibly have for the weekend.
Hope all is well abroad. Cheers!
