a long weekend
my weekend was spent resting and staying off my foot as much as possible. it worked - my foot doesn't hurt nearly as much as it used to, but i still walk with somewhat of a limp. i went back to work yesterday (monday) - but after calling my doctor about my nose, they wanted me to go in to see if they should give me some antibiotics. come to find out i DO have a sinus infection (to join my mother's little sinus party she's having) and i ended up going home early from work. jay was nice enough to give me today off, mostly because i have to work on saturday and i need a day off during the week, but also because she thought i needed some rest. i didn't rest ALL that much today, though. i had to go pick up prescriptions (i'm now taking over seven pills and a nose spray daily... welcome to Pharmacy Jessica), and then i went and bought a new pair of sneakers in hopes to keep my foot from acting up again. i'm now the proud owner of a pair of "vans" haha. i bought some insteps to help out with the support. let's see how they work. i was supposed to head out with cloudwoven this afternoon, but i didn't hear my cell phone ring, and then i ended up passing out on my bed after mike left for work. woops. we'll do it tomorrow night - i hope!
last night mike and i watched "the butterfly effect" and i have to say that i was pretty surprised with the outcome. i've head both good and (actually mostly) bad reviews about the movie. saying that ashton kutcher couldn't act and he should stick to his comedy routines. i liked it a lot. although i have to say that the director's cut ending was HORRIBLE and i suggest watching the original theatrical ending instead. then again. i'm a sap. so... yeah.
i should be getting an "anonymous" website up and running sometime soon. if you're interested in knowing what this new place will be, email me (starlitegoodnite@aol.com) and i'll think about letting you read it. ;) you'll just have to keep it completely silent: i'm having a different name, and i'm not revealing anything too detailed about myself. so... it's up to you.
