[Video post] | Post title: Because I owe an explanation as to why I haven't been around...
[The camera flickers on to show what's very obviously an office in Giro Express; there's stacks of papers and folders in view, as well as a few smaller boxes. Giro walks into view from off-camera and sits down, wincing as he does so.
To put it simply, he looks rough. The most noticeable part is that he's missing an arm, and if his short-sleeved shirt wasn't in the way, you'd see bandages across his chest and shoulder in that area. There's other bandages, though, wrapped around his head and his other arm, and smaller ones covering up a few sparse cuts. His glasses are missing, and he looks like a very, very tired man; his hair is somewhat tussled and has been pulled back into a ponytail. Looking up at the camera he smiles wanly, giving a small wave.]
Hi there. It's been a while. [His voice is noticeably weaker, and he sighs as he leans on his hand, closing his eyes.] I'm going to say right off the bat, don't be afraid of the way I look. Being a Reploid has its advantages, you know, and I'll be fixed right up before long.
I'm sure you're probably wondering what happened to me, though. [He gives the smallest shrug, which causes him to wince again, and he looks back at the camera.] I was in the wrong place at the wrong time when a Maverick raid happened, and was caught in the crossfire. That seems to happen to me a lot... [A flat chuckle, then another sigh.] Anyway. I won't be able to post for a while for obvious reasons, but I thought my friends deserved to know why.
[He seems about to say more when there's a noise in the background, like that of a very small child. Giro looks off and smiles, then leans up and turns the camera off.]

Before anyone says anything, yes I was fighting that Maverick, and yes I was in over my head. But I'm still alive, which is what counts, right?
