Car accident yesterday. Good times.

He's got cuts and bruises on his hips. I guess when we were hit, he was slammed against the passenger side door. He can't move too much/well. He's got some bruises on his head too. All I remember was stopping in the middle turn/suicide lane, and then feeling this pressure/force, and seeing white. I'm guessing it was the airbags. When I opened my eyes, I looked over at Jan and saw him open the door and fall out of the car, then lay down on the road. All I could think was "Thank God he's moving... He's at least alive." And then I closed my eyes and felt like I couldn't move.

My Dad saw the whole thing happen. He was coming home from work (his coworker was driving) when I was taking Jan to work, and he turned and said, "Hey look, it's Nadja's car!" and watched as a white truck plowed into us.

Paramedics were there within 2 minutes of the accident since there's a Dialysis center right in front of my parents' neighborhood and the EMTs are there picking up/dropping off patients.

Now everytime I close my eyes, I keep reliving the robbery and the car accident.

I'm racked with guilt over my brother getting hurt.

A) you should not feel guilty, but you know that.
B) you are okay and so is Jan and that is what is important.

well, i understand you feeling bad, i probably would too. but you have to look at the positive. it could have been so much worse. cuts and bruises heal. im just glad that everybody is okay and the emts got there so quick.

im really glad that you and jan arent seriously hurt.
