15th Wheel of Fate [Action]

[Today, if anyone is wandering through the village early in the morning, they may notice the silver-haired Murakumo wandering around. Much like the last time she was in the village, she isn't wearing her usual attire, but a plain white dress. Unlike last time, however, she's wearing what looks like a white makeshift scarf to cover her neck and ( Read more... )

[And when she does return to Community Building 6, she'll find Yuber still pretty much in about the same spot as she left him.

By this point, his wounds would be on the way to healing, though still pretty bad. The missing wing is starting to come back and at least there's no immediate danger of him bleeding to death on her like when that fight ended.

Nah, if anything he's bored. He's actually even tempted to just go and find her in the village and screw the consequences, but he knows full well just how many would take advantage of the fact that he's missing a wing and a good chunk of flesh still.

But truly, he can only behave for so long.]

[Yeah, him going out to look for her definitely isn't the grandest of ideas at the moment. The apartment may be a fairly safe spot for them right now, but the actual village, frankly, isn't.

ν-13 will return a few hours later... still a little absent-minded, but that's getting better, at least. She won't say anything once she's back at the apartment - not yet. But she'll linger in the living room for a little while, sorting through the things she brought with her... and getting rid of that makeshift scarf, since she doesn't really need to wear it here.]

[Can't blame a demon for being bored though, right?

After she enters, he'll try to make his own way to the living room, because he is bored enough to try and get up and do something. Thankfully, being a teleporter, he can just appear in the living room and hope he doesn't end up on top of her.]

[Right. Definitely can't blame him for being bored when she had the exact same problem while she was stuck recovering back in May.

That... won't happen, fortunately, although him teleporting into the living room does seem to startle her a little... even if only for a brief moment. That's likely just because she's still a little absent-minded, though.]

[It doesn't take long before she seems to be more concerned than startled, though.]

Um... Are you sure you should be moving around? [Teleporting does count as moving as well, after all...]

[It's not moving in his opinion, he's so used to it that he'd have to be a lot worse off for it to bother him.]

It's bad enough to be stuck here. [Which translates to, he doesn't care if he shouldn't be moving. He's that bored, and being in a building drives him nuts. The desert fort isn't as bad, but not these buildings made for humans.]

[It counts as moving to her... but then again, the form of teleportation she's used to is a little different from his. Act Parser's weird.

And that response? Actually makes her sigh for once. She knows what he means, of course - she hates being stuck indoors as well, even if it's for a different reason - but even so...]

I know it's not fun. But it really is for the best, you know. [That's said more matter-of-factly than before. Having to rest may be annoying, but it does seem to help... or at least it did for her back in May.]

[Yuber's a weird exception with teleporting anyhow.

And really, they both are obviously just difficult patients. Can't stand being indoors, can't stand resting, and he'd probably be as annoyed as she is if the situation was reversed and she were being uncooperative.]

For the best would be killing that annoying wolf so she can't be a danger to either of us for at least a week.

[Seriously, he at least knows that isn't going to happen quite yet.]

[They really are. At least she managed to find a way to keep herself occupied back then, though. Him doing the same is... likely a lot more difficult, knowing him.]

Of course. But you know we can't do that right now. Not as long as you're injured. [...Honestly, she'd love to do exactly that right now, but even she can tell that going after something like Moro on her own is practically suicide. Maybe if she had the other half of the Azure Grimoire, it'd be doable, but... alas.]

[Or a matter of just finding something besides killing humans that could be interesting.]

Then that worthless human that attacked you. I'll enjoy his screams of pain so much. [Because Ratatosk being there pissed the demon off even more than any of the others.]

[That's a bit difficult as well, though, isn't it?]

We can get rid of that hindrance after you recover. [She's definitely not opposed to that idea. It's just... It doesn't strike has as a good idea to try to go after anyone while one of them is still injured.]

[Probably, but maybe suggesting something besides knitting would help? Or cooking, because he knows he fails at that.]

He was truly no challenge, should have killed him when I had the chance. [No really, Emil is a walk in the park for them to kill, Ratatosk, is a different story.]

[She would suggest something, but the only things she can come up with are things he probably wouldn't consider fun. ...Or aren't really possible right now. Because stuff like fishing is... tough to do while stuck in an apartment, to say the least.]

I'm sure you'll get another chance. But right now, you should really focus on recovering, all right? [Trying to kill someone while injured could end... badly. And that's a risk she'd prefer to avoid right now.]

[Yeah, and this is why you don't let a demon of chaos get injured, they don't deal with sitting and resting, especially with the attention span of a gnat that Yuber has.]

And staring at the walls is growing tedious. [And he's going to start eying what she got, because it is something of interest, even if not really any of his business most likely.]

[She's... starting to notice that. Sheesh, even she dealt better with having to rest for a while...]

Couldn't you try to do something to pass time? [There has to be something like that, right?

As for the contents of the bag... There's really not a lot in there. Just some medical supplies - primarily antiseptics and bandages - as well as... a bucket of blue paint and a paint roller. Huh.]

blackenedchaos June 19 2010, 22:34:31 UTC
[Yep, demons are very annoying about that.]

Like what? [Have fun suggesting, and he's eying that paint curiously, almost like he's not sure what it's for. You'd think the demon has never seen paint before or something.]
