Sure, she might not have had to deal with the tree rain or the Tease herself, but she does know a few people who normally seem to stay in the village...]

Have... you attempted to fish in this world yet? [Considering the one she talked to about fishing last time didn't have any luck, she's a bit curious if anyone's been able to catch something here.]

...Fish. [What else? ...Honestly, she's got zero experience with this sans for what she heard from Tir.]

Aye, but what kind? You need the right sort of bait, savvy? Sharks'll bite on any type of guts you have handy; squid'll also eat most anything. Whales'll eat...well mostly you harpoon the whale, if you're lucky; sometimes the whale will overturn yer boat and drown you. Lobster 'n crab'll pick the meat off any spare bones you got lyin' about. Sea turtles--just pick 'em up, right out of the water!

Cod require a net. Do you have a net?

Good. No cod in these waters anyway.

What you'll be needin', then, is a line, a hook, and a worm.

...You haven't the foggiest notion what I'm talking about, do you.

... [The lack of a response is... probably the closest thing to a confirmation Jack will get right now. You lost her a while ago, I think, Jack.]

The worm, see? You impale him on the hook, as though he's committed some terrible crime. But in reality, his only crime was being born a worm. Then you make a small noose with the line, savvy? This you use to hang the worm. Again, his only crime? Worm.

Finally, you throw the poor little blighter, hanged and impaled, into the lake. Be sure to keep hold of the other end of the line, or else your labors are for naught. With any luck, a nice fat fish will eat him, thus spiking itself on the hook and being unable to escape. Then you may do with him what you will.
