[It's been a while since ν-13 returned from her mallynapping. Beyond interacting with a few people and briefly attending Luka's concert, she hasn't done all that much since - or rather, she hasn't done much that would affect most people
That's about to change today. Why? Because there's something that's been bothering her ever since that

And it happens a little too fast for him to avoid it (or deflect it considering he can't get the sheath up there fast enough to block it). Crescent Saber 1, Jin Kisaragi ... 0
He lets out a sound of surprise more than actual pain (but it is there still, isn't it? It hurts just as much as anything else of this nature), the force hitting him and sending him back and off his feet. Hitting the ground hurts more than it should, his wings that are hidden under his overcoat feeling the pressure of hitting the ground with his weight on top of them. And then, the little bounce just adds for double, and he's gritting his teeth, ready to curse the hell out of this place. Just what he needed, one more weakness in this engagement.
Despite everything, Jin is still rather quick, so unless she makes an immediate attack while he's still hitting the ground or during the little bounce, he'll be rolling up onto his feet and backing away from her ASAP.
...Even if backing away gives her way more advantage than him with Yukianesa out of commission. I better think of something fast...]

There's just one thing she has to do first if she wants to resolve this. Hopefully that won't take too long to accomplish...]
Open the rift. [That short statement is the only warning he'll get before another blade - this one resembling a saw blade of sorts - appears on the ground behind him, spinning toward him with the intent of knocking him down once more. In other words, Jin, meet Sickle Storm.]

Jin finds himself on the ground again, dazed from hitting smacking his head in the fall (it could have been much worse than just a daze, though, and he's lucky) this time forward, face to the cobblestone. This is terribly one-sided, and he was stupid to engage, but if she's after Ragna... he tries to get up once again, but is considerably slower this time. He mutters the next words in the process, more to himself than to her:]
You won't take him away from me again.
[Enough of this.]

[His grip tightens on the hilt of Yukianesa.]
You shouldn't exist.
And you won't.
... I am the cold steel... the blade that will restore balance to our world. Nox Nyctores, Yukianesa, activate!
[And for the first time since it stopped working when he met Ragna back home, it does. He doesn't draw her immediately though, taking a step and a jump back (with a spin in his movement) before landing back on his feet to face her. It's practically instantaneous that he lets go of his grip on Yukianesa's hilt, pulling his right arm back, hand almost over his shoulder, before swinging it out forward, directing the same hand out towards Nu.]
Blades of Ice!
[and following that is a large sword projectile made of ice being launched straight at her.

...Target's threat level increased.
[First things first, however, she'll have to deal with that ice sword. The previous time she fought Jin, his Nox Nyctores was capable of freezing her; as such, it's probably best if she tries to keep any attacks that can be traced back to it from hitting her. For now, that's something she'll attempt to do by calling up a barrier, using it to block the attack. The impact still ends up hurting a little, but it's better than being frozen, at the very least.
When that's done with, however...]

Well, let's just say the result will be anything but pleasant for Jin.
Specifically, if the sweeping kick connects, she'll follow it by deploying a gravity field below him - and quite possibly hitting him with her hands as she does so - which will cause him to move more slowly and float a little. This is followed by her sweeping her blades at him in a downward arc, then jumping up into the air after him and spinning twice to slice at him using the blades at her back yet again. That is followed by another crescent-like blade intended to smash him back down to the ground, and once ν-13 lands as well, she'll do a low kick to knock him up into the air again. Once more, this is followed by sweeping her blades at him in a downward arc, then jumping and creating a drive blade in front of him and launching it again. That blade is followed by another from behind him, and finally, she'll end the entire onslaught with one last crescent-like blade to smash him down once more.
And if that sounds a little too confusing, there's always a visual reference.
Why is she suddenly resorting to such a fierce onslaught compared to her earlier attacks?
Shut up...! You heap of scrap metal...! Ahahaha... Your entire life is a fabrication!
...Fabri... cation...?
...Maybe it's because his words just now reminded her of something. Something she really doesn't like to recall, to say the least.]

Jin is wasting absolutely no time to get involved in this fight now and he goes to dash forward to meet her halfway, about to withdraw Yukianesa for a nasty slice at her after he dodges that sweeping kick and blocking the blades...]

The rest is just a flurry of attacks, and as each one connects, he's not sure if they hurt more than the pain he's already experiencing. He has absolutely no idea where it's come from: he was injured back home but the butler of that witch had helped him take care of that...
...Might it have something to do with this sudden onslaught he's feeling? Some kind of side effect? If so, goddamn them for not mentioning such a thing!
Jin's completely dazed by the time she finally knocks him down to the ground once more and he curls for a second, instinctive fetus position at the pain plus the extra pain Nu's dealt to him now before rolling onto his stomach and trying to get up. ]
. . .
[No luck. He only gets to one knee before collapsing back down and he doesn't get back up. Closer inspection shows he's not even awake, anymore, the pain so intense he just passed out because of it. He'll probably wake up soon (he is still breathing), but for now it's best he's unconscious instead of screaming about it or stupidly trying to continue to fight when he can't (like he always does.)
Thanks Valkenhayn and Nu, you're a great pain-dealing pair.
HE'LL BE DEMANDING A REMATCH NEXT TIME HE SEES YOU, NU]

But she's certainly not complaining. This speeds things up a lot, after all.]
Processing... Target's strength at negligible levels.
[If he's unconscious, then...]

She doesn't leave immediately, however, instead looking down at the unconscious Jin one last time, speaking up briefly.]
...Just stay down. [If their previous fight was any indication, he should be able to recover from his injuries. They're not that bad, after all. In fact, knowing this place, it's not unlikely that someone will find him; odds are high that he'll be healed by someone before long.
... ]
...Now, to find Ragna. [Onward with her search. If fate's on her side, she might be just be able to locate him before the sun sets...]
Reply
...Wait. Why is he lying on the ground? Why are people quietly stepping over him!? She gapes at the sight and she hastens over.]
Jin? Jin, are you-- [Once she's close enough to see the state he's in, her blood runs cold. She kneels down frantically and lays a hand on his shoulder.] --wh-what happened!? Jin, can you hear me!?
Reply
He doesn't move at first, but he does mutter her name.] ...Tsu...baki...?
[He's not sure quite what happened when he finally opens his eyes, just noticing he is a bit sore, still, and that that pain he felt (how could he forget that?) seems mostly gone.
And then he remembers suddenly what had been going on before he passed out and he goes to practically jump to his feet, although really only manages to get into a kneeling position for now. Jin grabs at his head, trying to stop the dizzying effect of getting up too fast.]
...She's gone.
Reply
[Ugh is he trying to make it worse? Tsubaki attempts to get a grip on his arm to stop him, but it looks like he can't make it to his feet on his own anyway. It hurts just to see him in such a sorry state, but she can't do much more than hover nearby panicking and wondering how she's going to drag him to the clinic by herself...]

She must correct this injustice.]
Who's gone? Who's responsible for this...?

-I have no idea.
[He says it pathetically with a sigh, probably mostly annoyed at himself for not even knowing.] She looked like someone I knew a long time ago.
[He's thoughtful now, before quietly asking:] ...Is there anyone here from our world that (is a Murakumo Unit) resembles Noel Vermillion? [-that resembles Saya, he wants to say, but instead uses the next closest. He knows it wasn't Vermillion, but that's all he can ask in terms of identifying his opponent.] I think she was looking for Ragna.
Reply
...I do know someone like that. [Could Jin seriously have some sort of history with Nu?]
But... looking for Ragna? Did that have something to do with the reason why she attacked you? [Are you the one who started it, Jin? :|]
