Err--[the question throws him for a bit of a loop.] No. She's the king's ward, not his daughter. Uther has only his son, Arthur. [And he recalls, somewhat uncomfortably, that long ago day when Gwen had told him that she hoped for Morgana to be queen.]

But she is to be considered as part of the royal family.
