...it's not strange in my experience. I've been kidnapped three times, and twice they were for about a month. It must be hard to wait, but who knows; maybe he'll return soon.

Three times. [A sigh.] That's...quite a few.

They've been spread out over the course of the year. I certainly haven't enjoyed them, but other people have probably had it worse.

A year. [Pause.] So many people have been here for so long.

Some have been here two years...but I don't recall hearing about anyone having been here longer than that. And most only stay a few weeks.
