[Today, someone fancies himself a warrior. After making his brusque (and alarmingly confident) voice post, Merlin has taken to the mean streets of Luceti. He looks relatively like his normal, gangly, awkward warlock self--except for the part where Arthur's sword is strapped uncomfortably to his back. And it's obvious

[With a heroic flourish, Merlin attempts to yank the sword from its sheath. But it mostly kind of fails.

The sword clatters to the ground, ringing out across the plaza. Merlin groans in frustration.]

[He takes hold of the hilt with clumsy hands.]

Thank you, my lady. [He's...speaking very formally. Being very courteous is a knight's job!]

[He puts on a brave face.]

No need to hide. [He...awkwardly puts the sword away again. Taking it out was a bad idea, anyway.]

[He holds his hands up, palms open.]

[He smiles quite brightly--forgetting to be somber.]

I'm Merlin--Sir Merlin, my lady.

[He peers in at the journal--thwacking himself on the head with the pommel of the sword as he leans in. Wincing, he rubs the back of his head.

But--oh!]

Lady Razette. [He falls to one knee, paying fealty and reaching out for her hand.]

[He shakes his head.] Lady Razette, you shouldn't be bowing to me. [He makes frantic motions for her to stand up. How can he properly kiss a fine lady's hand if she doesn't stand!]

[He forgets the hand for now. Really? He's just winging this. So instead he bows his head and promises:] I, Sir Merlin, vow to protect the Lady Razette from all harm.
