Who: Fujiko, Jyabura, Kaku, Lucci and Kalifa What: Kalifa meets up with her old teammates Where: Some random island that the Straw Hats arrived at. When: Monday, 18th May, evening
Kaku's a lady now. XDkirin_jaMay 19 2009, 03:48:00 UTC
"I can't believe I'm going to have to meet with the three of them like this," Kaku groused to himself as he walked along the deck of the Sunny. After his rather abrupt change in gender, he'd been forced to borrow everything but a shirt in order to be decent. Perhaps it was the hormones talking, but he felt very huffy and ready to be done with this stupid switch already.
He could hear Jyabura's laughing already, obnoxious even as a woman.
As he leaned over the gunwale and looked at the docks, a figure walking along caught his eye. He frowned and focused a little more, then smiled brightly, forgetting his plight for the moment.
"Ah! Kalifa!" he called, raising a hand to wave at her.
God, it really IS an epidemic XDawa_sheepMay 19 2009, 20:33:49 UTC
As Kalifa walked towards the ship, someone seemed to recognise her and call her name. Still, if it was the Straw Hat's new ship, why was it a female voice? After all, neither of the female crew would probably be happy to see her. Unless...
"Kaku?" It was the eyelashes and the nose that gave it away. Mostly the nose. The expression of slight confusion was replaced by a smirk that Kalifa made little effort to conceal. "So, is this condition contagious? Honestly Kaku, I would have thought at least you would have learned from all this by now." After a short pause for effect, she added "Still, you do make quite a cute girl."
Kaku had the grace to look embarrassed, and hopped up onto the gunwale.
"It must have been mixed into the drink I had right before it happened," he ascertained before taking the leap off the railing and landing a few feet from where Kalifa stood. It was not the graceful landing that was the norm with him; he quite nearly fell forward upon landing and had to catch himself. He felt his ears turn a little red, and slowly stood.
"...My center of gravity has changed, and not for the better," he said, shifting a little on his feet.
Leaning over the gunwale, Lucci looked down to the shore just in time to watch Kaku fail to stick his landing. He raised an eyebrow, casting his glance from Kaku over to Kalifa. There was a face he hadn't seen in quite some time.
"Ladies," he said cordially, with a smirk that belied the polite greeting. He hopped over the gunwale himself, jumping down with considerably more grace.
