The next morning Sho entered the green room with a wide smile on his face. He greeted everybody happily before settling at his place. Jun and Aiba exchanged a puzzled look.
“It’s weird to see someone else enter the green room with that stupid grin other than Aiba-chan. Anything good happen yesterday?” asked Nino, who kept on playing his DS.
“Oi!” retorted Aiba. Sho just shrugged his shoulders and kept on flipping through the newspaper.
“I had a great breakfast this morning,” said Sho with a wide smile. Yup, the best breakfast ever! He still couldn’t believe that Natsumi made a scrambled egg for him and even knocked on his door that morning just to bring him breakfast. Well, it’s not that Natsumi hadn’t done it before, but somehow it made him feel happy. It’s weird. He knew that but he didn't have the answer himself yet. Natsumi entered the room with the same giddy aura. Jun, Aiba, Nino and Ohno gave Natsumi same look that they gave Sho when he entered the room.
“Good morning! Ready to start your day?” asked Natsumi. Sho gave her a smile, not an annoying retort as always. The other members started to feel the weird atmosphere around the two of them.
“Hey Natsumi-chan, you look well today. Anything happen yesterday? Don’t tell me they raised your salary. If they really do, would you mind treating me to a hamburger?” asked Nino with a grin. Natsumi just laughed at his words.
“Come on, you guys have filming for Mannequin Five today. Oh, I hope the same member won’t be left over again,” Natsumi said while she looked at Sho.
“Mi-chan, don’t even start it,” warned Sho. The girl just gave him a cunning smile.
“Well, I think you can be sold as long as you don’t do something stupid like wearing a double parka again,” said Natsumi.
“That is a fashion revolution!” retorted Sho. It took Natsumi about a week to stop teasing him after the epic double parka episode went on air. Natsumi just laughed. She took Sho’s jacket and gave it to him.
“Come on, Mr. Double Parka! We’ll be late if we don’t move now. You can talk about the fashion revolution later. After you’ve proved that your fashion sense isn’t a complete failure,” chuckled Natsumi. Sho just groaned and walked ahead of Natsumi. He stopped for awhile and then looked back at her.
“You have to wear a skirt to work tomorrow if I win this mannequin episode, deal?”
“Deal!” said Natsumi firmly. She was confident that Sho would never win Mannequin Five. The Arashi members were in their dressing room at TBS. Everybody was busy choosing their outfits.
“Sho-kun, I heard you made a bet with Natsumi-chan. Is it true?” asked Ohno. Sho smiled and nodded his head.
“If I win in today’s Mannequin Five, she will wear a skirt to work tomorrow.”
“Now that you mention it, I never see Natsumi-chan in a skirt,” mumbled Jun.
“She never likes wearing something like that. In fact, I never saw her wear a skirt aside from her school uniform. Maybe I should buy her a skirt for her birthday. A mini skirt would look nice on her, I guess,” said Sho with a grin. Aiba smacked his head.
“Pervert! Are you imagining Natsumi-chan in a mini skirt, Sho-chan?”
Sho’s face had turned red. He smiled in embarrassment.
“I bet she would look great in a skirt. After all, Natsumi-chan is pretty,” said Nino. Sho looked at the gamer. Nino didn’t seem to notice that Sho was looking at him. He kept on playing his DS. The AD came and called them for the shooting. Unexpectedly, Sho won the episode. He had been chosen first among the other five, leaving Aiba as the left over. Sho headed back to the dressing room with a big smile and happiness in his heart. He waited for Natsumi in the green room.
“You seem happy” said Ohno. Sho just smiled excitedly. He kept on looking at the door for Natsumi.
“I win! Tomorrow you need to wear a skirt for work, Mi-chan,” said Sho as soon as he heard the door’s sound.
“Boo! I didn’t know that you like me in a skirt, Sho-chan!” teased Nino. Jun and Aiba burst out laughing while Sho ducked his head down. How could he make such a stupid mistake?
“Nino looks good in a skirt too, you know,” said Ohno.
“Ah, thank you, Captain. I know you like me in a skirt,” Nino said as he kissed Ohno’s chubby cheek.
“Oh, get a room, you two!”
Sho quickly turned his head towards the voice. He smiled when he saw Natsumi, who was busy with a bunch of papers.
“Natsumi-chan, guess who won in the Mannequin Five today?” asked Sho.
“Of course it wouldn’t be you,” replied Natsumi. Her eyes were still focused on her papers.
“You’re wrong, Natsumi-chan! It’s Sho-kun’s day today. He won,” said Jun. Natsumi was so surprised she dropped the papers on the floor. She immediately looked at Sho, who was still smiling.
“Looks like someone has to wear a skirt tomorrow. Do you have a skirt, Mi-chan? Or do you need me to buy you one?” he said with a wicked smile on his face.
“I DO have a skirt to wear,” retorted Natsumi. It’s just not mine. Sho stepped towards Natsumi, lowering his head down by her ear. They were only a few inches apart. She could feel his breath at her neck. Her heart was pounding like crazy. Her adrenaline was rushing. Natsumi closed her eyes. She kept telling her mind to relax.
“I win, Mi-chan. Don’t forget to wear your skirt tomorrow. I am looking forward to it,” Sho said with a little chuckle. He placed a small kiss on her pink cheek before walking out of the room. Natsumi froze. Her heart was still pounding really hard. She felt like she would collapse. Aiba walked towards Natsumi. He waved his hand in front of her eyes. No movement.
“Natsumi-chan~ Natsumi-chan~ are you okay?”
Natsumi came back to reality after Aiba snapped her out of it. She calmed herself down before firmly telling them that she was okay. Jun gave her the papers that he had helped her collect beforehand. Natsumi quickly left the green room before they noticed her red face.
“Hey, Matsujun! Will you freeze like that if I kiss you?” asked Aiba while he stepped toward Jun. His action got him a smack on the head from Jun.
“Guess the effect is different from person to person,” concluded Aiba while rubbing his head.
“Ba~ka” said Nino.
