“Everybody, listen!” Ryutarou shouted as he went to get Kazuki, Shotarou, Takeshi and Jaiko who were talking near the slide. Four set of eyes looked at him. Ryutarou smiled widely as he joined them.
“Listen! I have a great idea!” he said excitedly. Shotarou looked at him warily.
“The last time you said that sentence, we ended up following some frogs and got stuck in the mud. I even got scolded by mama for ruining my shorts” he said. Jaiko, Kazuki and Takeshi nodded.
“Tarou-chan is right! Remember the time you made all of us lost in the jungle during the camping trip?” Jaiko added. Ryutarou pouted.
“I haven’t told you about the idea yet!” he said as he crossed his arms and brought them to his chest. Kazuki rolled his eyes when he noticed that Ryutarou’s lips were beginning to tremble.
“Well, then - tell us about it” Takeshi said.
“You can tell us but if it has something to do with stupid experiments or watching nature, I’m not going to join you” Kazuki said, followed with some nodding from Jaiko and Shutarou. Ryutarou huffed. He hated it when Kazuki wasn’t on his side.
“It has nothing to do with experiments” he said and looked at Kazuki. “Which isn’t stupid or nature. I was thinking that maybe we can have a sleepover! I heard Ame-chan talked about it with Naito and it would be cool if we can have a sleepover too!” Ryutarou said. He was elated and his eyes were shiny while he watched his friends with anticipation. The other four looked at each other.
“It sounds good! I’ll ask mama about it!” Jaiko said. Ryutarou was beaming at her. He smiled wider when Shotarou, Kazuki and Takeshi voiced out their agreement.

“Ko-chan, how’s school?” Jun asked during dinner. He smiled when Jaiko talked animatedly about her school’s activities.
“Oh! Mama, can I go to sleep over?” Jaiko asked, looking at Naomi.
“Sleepover? Where?”
Jaiko stopped munching her cream crab croquette and looked at her mother.
“I’m not sure. Ryu-chan just asked us if we want to join a sleepover. He didn’t tell us where”
“Well, I’ll call Sacchan and ask about it later” Naomi said.

“Sleepover? Whose house?” Asami asked Shotarou. Shotarou shrugged as he gave the glass that he was holding to his mother.
“How can you planned a sleepover if you don’t know whose house you’re going to be”
“Ryu-chan just told us about it. He told us to ask our parents. So, maybe it’ll be at Aiba-san’s house?”
“I’ll call your Sasuki-san later. Now, go and get ready for bed” Asami said. Shotarou nodded. He went upstairs and started to get ready for bed.

Sasuki put the crackers that she had brought on the coffee table and then sat next to Aiba on the couch. She looked at Ryutarou who was focusing on his homework. The phone rang and she went to answer it.
“Nao-chan, good evening!”
She listened to what Naomi was saying and then casted a glance at Ryutarou. Aiba who noticed the frowned on his wife’s temple, put down his golf magazine and then paid attention to Sasuki who was talking on the phone.
“I’ll get back to you later” Sasuki said and then hang up the phone. She turned to get back to her husband and son but stopped abruptly when the phone rang again.
“Hello. Ah, Kyouko-chan. I’ll get back to you later? Okay, bye” she said and then hung up once again. The phone rang again for the third and then the fourth time. Aiba heard Sasuki said the same things over again. He glanced at his son and wondered what he had done again. He then turned and looked at Sasuki who was standing in front of the phone as if she was waiting for it to ring. Right on cue, the phone rang and Sasuki immediately answered it.
“Acchan? Is it about the sleepover?” she asked. Aiba frowned as he listened to every word that Sasuki had said.
“The others had called me. I’ll get back to you later, okay?” Sasuki put the phone back and then turned to look at Ryutarou.
“Ryu, what is this sleepover plan that your aunties called me about?” she asked. Ryutarou who was colouring something looked at his mother with sparkling eyes.
“Oh, about that! You know, mama! Ame-chan was talking about it with Naoto and I think it would be great if we have our own sleepover! Everybody had agreed!” he explained with full excitement that reminded Sasuki of Aiba when he came up with something that he thought was great.
“When exactly will this sleepover take place? And where?”
Ryutarou frowned. He scratched his head and shrugged his shoulders. Sasuki rolled her eyes.

“Good morning!” Aiba said as he strolled into the Arashi’s green room in Fuji TV that morning. He jumped and sat next to Nino who was typing something on his phone.
“Hey, Aiba-chan! What is this whole deal about sleepover that I’ve heard?” Jun, who was just arrived, shot out the question as soon as he saw Aiba’s face.
“Geez, Jun-kun! It just a kid’s sleepover!” Nino said.
“From what I knew, Ryu just made a plan without properly plan it. So, Sasuki is still trying to find a suitable date for it”
“I’m not sure if it’s a good idea” Jun mumbled, sipping his hot tea. Sho and Ohno looked at him.
“Why? Like Nino had said, it just kids’ sleepover. Besides, it’ll be at one of our place. There’s nothing to worry about” Sho said. Jun sighed and put his paper cup on the table.
“I just don’t feel comfortable leaving Jaiko and four rowdy boys” he muttered.
“Hey, the boys are naughty but definitely not rowdy!” Aiba said. Sho nodded.
“I can’t talk about the other three but Tarou definitely not a rowdy boy” he added. Jun rolled his eyes. He definitely didn’t trust Jaiko around Shotarou. The boy might be really good but a girl with a crush was definitely dangerous. He noticed the way his daughter acted around Shotarou and who knew how she would act if she got to spend a whole night with him.
“If you are so worry about her, why don’t you just host the sleepover party at your house?” Ohno asked. Jun looked at him.
“Yeah, Riida’s right. Besides, Aiba-shi is not really capable of looking at one child, let alone five children! It might turn out to be a disaster” Nino added while mocking Aiba.
“Oi! I am perfectly capable of looking after the kids. Besides, Sacchan will be there too” Aiba retorted. Jun let out a heavy sigh.
“Fine! Tell your wives that it’ll be this Friday. My house” he grunted after giving it a thought.

“So, you offered to be the host?” Naomi asked as she put on the last sandwich in the plate. Jun nodded. He looked around for his daughter and leaned forward.
“Well, you know about Jaiko’s crush on Tarou and you see how she behaves around him. I become restless just thinking about that!” he whispered. Naomi rolled her eyes.
“Jun-chan, they’re five years old! There’s nothing can happen!”
“Well, we don’t know about it. She already kissed his cheek before. What if they kiss? It’s too early for her to have her first kiss! Besides, kids usually sleep together during sleepover, right?”
“Matsumoto-kun, you are ridiculous!” Naomi said, exasperated.

Nino laid down on the couch, humming a song while his fingers frantically pressing the DS buttons. Nanami shook her head as she sat on the sofa across from him. She took the remote and started to skim through the channel - looking for an interesting show to watch.
“Nana-chan, do you want to go out for a date or something? Kacchan is not here and I’m bored” Nino said. Nanami looked at him.
“You’re bored? Are you sure you’re my husband?” she asked. Nino rolled his eyes.
“Do you want to go or not? Watching late night movie seems like a good idea” he mused. Nanami frowned.
“Who are you and what have you done to my introvert husband?” she asked.
“Nanami! This is the last offer! Do you want -,”
“I’ll go and change my clothes now!” Nanami said and immediately dashed to their room. Nino chuckled as he watched his wife.

“Well, this is nice” Ohno said as he and Kyouko strolled along the pathway. Kyouko hummed her response as she tightened her coat around her waist. The autumn’s wind that hit them was making her shiver.
“We should do this more often” Kyouko said.

“Oh, it’s Nino and Nana-chan!” Aiba said as he saw the couple. He immediately waved at them but ended up being ignored.
“Maybe he didn’t see us” Aiba said. He was about to shout Nino’s name when Sasuki stopped him.
“Do I need to remind you about your status as National Idol?” she asked. Aiba shook his head. Sasuki yelled out Nanami’s name and managed to get their attention.
“We should continue to ignore them” Nino mumbled as he and Nanami made their way toward Aiba and Sasuki.
“Oh, is this some kind of gathering or what?”
The two couples turned around when they heard the familiar voice. Sho and Asami were smiling at them. They were holding popcorns and drinks.
“I can’t believe we’re all here!” Aiba exclaimed.
“It would be perfect if Riida and Kyouko-chan are here too” Nino added. Sho chuckled.
“They just left actually. We bumped into them when we’re arrived” he explained.

“Okay, guys! It’s bed time! Go and brush your teeth first!” Naomi said. The five kids groaned. Naomi looked at her mother.
“But mama! You said we can watch movies till we’re asleep!” she whined.
“You can watch some movie but go and brush your teeth first”
Jaiko went to her bathroom while the boys went and took out the toothbrush from their bag and headed to the bathroom.
“Where are the kids?” Jun, who just came down with some futon, asked.
“Brushing their teeth” Naomi said as she helped him spread the futons on the floor. Naomi watched as Jun took a pink futon and put it further than the other. She raised her eyebrows and looked at him. Jun ignored her.
“Yay, futon!” Jaiko said as she ran and jumped on the futon. The boys came and joined her as they rolled around on the futons.
“Ko-chan, your futon is over there! These ones are for the boys” Jun said. Jaiko whined and pouted as she looked at him.
“Why can’t I sleep with them?” she asked. “I want to sleep beside Tarou-chan!”
Naomi smirked. She decided to leave Jun to handle it alone. Besides, he was too stubborn to listen to her.
“Well, urm - you’re a girl and Tarou is a boy. You can’t sleep together. It’s inappropriate!”
“But I always sleep beside Tarou during nap time in the kindergarten!”
That’s definitely something that I don’t wanna know, Jun thought. After much bantering, Jun finally gave up and pulled Jaiko’s futon closer. He chuckled when he saw that Takeshi had fallen asleep despite the bantering. Kazuki and Ryutarou were huddled together, playing their DS. Jun smiled as he saw that Shotarou was looking at him.
“Jun-san, can you read a book for me? Papa and mama always read to me every night”
“Ohhh, that sounds so nice! Read for us, papa!” Jaiko said, excitedly. Jun held out the urge to roll his eyes as he nodded and went to find a book that was suitable for them both. After that, he came back and wiggled himself between Jaiko and Shotarou and started reading.
“Jun-chan, do you -,” Naomi trailed off when she saw that Jun had fell asleep with a book in his hand. She chuckled as she took a blanket and covered him with it.
