Arashi ni Shiyagare - 21 Sept 2013
I've been outdated of Arashi's shows for quite awhile. Mainly because I stopped watching the unsub one and not many of the latest shows were subbed. I even didn't known that Shiyagare had gotten a new format, until I watched the latest episode with Ueno Juri that the lovely onajisora had subbed. One thing that I can say is that I like the new format. It somehow reminds me of Arashi no Shukudaikun - minus the silly games and any other silly things that they always did in AnS. Maybe because it is a talk show format. I like the waiting room idea too - although Nino did think that it was useless at first.
What I can say about Ueno Juri was that she seems awkward. Perhaps because she never been in a talk show before. But I watched her once during bistro smap but she didn't seem as awkward as she was around Arashi. What I found amazing was that the way Arashi seemed to forget that she was around for a moment when they were in the waiting room. They were talking about a suitable nickname for her since Ohno said that it was weird to call her Juri-chan. But then he suggested to call her Juri and the other four said that it was weirder since they just met her. From that, they started to talk on how they call their co-star since Jun asked them how would they call the actress that they work together while filming a love story. Well, they said they didn't know since none of them had ever starred in a love movie. lol. Aiba asked Nino what did he called Toyo Etsu (Detective Asama in Platina Data) and they started talking among them - as if Ueno Juri wasn't around. lol.
Another great thing about this episode? The Sakumoto moments! It's been awhile since I flail about these two! *squeal* Then, we could see the amazing Matsumoto chef! Ueno Juri told a story about how Jun was being his charming self when they went for a yakiniku with the movie's staffs.Jun said that she was his co-star and then Sho said that he wants to co-star with Jun. It might be my tin-hating mind but I totally think that he sounded affectionate. lol. So, all the directors and producers, please make these two act together in a movie or drama! Onegai!!
While Jun was cooking the meat, he kept on saying 'atsui'. Then, Nino made fun of him by calling him AtsuJun - making Ohno and Sho burst out laughing. lol. The way they laughed were funny and they seemed like they couldn't stop laughing. Ohno even punched Nino's arm. Then, when Jun asked who was making fun of his name, Nino immediately pointed at Ohno - another scene that reminded me of Shukudai-kun. My shipper's heart was totally squealing when Sho sort of reprimanding Nino - saying that Jun feeling the heat wasn't AtsuJun.
Nino was totally making fun of Jun's name again when he called Jun YasaJun because he letting all of them ate the Kobe Beef Steak that Jun had cooked for Ueno Juri. Sho suggested that instead of saying 'itadakimasu', they said the movie's title - promoting it before eating. Aiba said the movie's title and the date followed with 'It has love to' and kissed the meat before eating it - making the audience went 'Kyaaaa~'. The other four said that it was a shriek and the kyaaa for horror instead of love. lol. I might say that the way Sho ate it just so adorable. I miss watching him eating!
After Jun had presented his classy way of eating Kobe Beef, it was Aiba's turned to introduce the common way of eating Kobe Beef. Another Shukudai's moment - when he couldn't tell where the camera was and when he mistaken the left and right of the stage - which had happened in Shukudaikun before lol. He introduced Bokkake - a dish made from sinew and then, Arashi asked why it was called Bokkake. Because of that, Aiba jumped in for an impromptu quiz session lol - which Sho totally destroyed the moment because he got the correct answer in a first try lol. Sasuga Sakurai caster! Because of that, the other complaints since they couldn't feel the thrill and the joy of the quiz since Sho answered it right. Aiba started a second quiz and they asked him for hints - using his body. Aiba did a body gestures that he always did in Golden Rush Arashi every time they had quiz! Totally nostalgic! As usual, nobody understand it. However, Ueno Juri surprised everybody when she got it in second try! lol. I might say that it was definitely a miracle! lol.
During the ending, Arashi was complaining and teasing Jun because he helped grilling meat and ordered salads for the movie's staffs when they went for yakiniku together. Then, Jun said that he always did that too when he went for yakiniku with Arashi. After that, Sho said that he definitely had no memory of holding tongs. lol. Then, he asked Jun to open a yakiniku shop. lol. This is definitely a fun episode!
