I took that picture all by myself. can you feel me beaming? jk rowling always uses the phrase "beaming up" to describe how Harry's parents look at him from pictures.
it's debatable whether or not the sardonic twinkle in my eyes is obscured by their lopsidedness. but either way, I had a really good weekend. I thought this week was finals. I am pretty detached from school, obviously. I didn't even go today because my mom asked me not to. I needed to be here when the cable guy came.
so I did the normal thing and made pizza from scratch. I still can't get over how good it was.
I also tried to mend a friendship today, that is unmendable. I can't take things as seriously as he can! I'm fucking incapable. but I know that's a virtue and not a vice.
I miss Alia a lot, and it always seems that my plans do not involve her. in addition to being an irresponsible friend to her, I love her. so goddamnit. next semester is going to be SO different than this one.
