Hi! (I'm posting this way back here where no one will likely see it.) You don't know me at all, but I've seen you around in several of my friends' LJs, and have been wanting to friend you for some time. Would that be okay? raebird assures me that you are receptive to the direct route to friending, although she and caerwynx have offered to do introductions. As has nutmeg3 (although I didn't specify who I was referring to, so I'm not sure if this counts).

Okay, so... I was whining in a recent post that I wanted to friend you, and they were all I'll Introduce You! and Go Friend Her Already You Great Big Baby, Geez and I refused both options, but have changed my mind and here I am. We have about a dozen friends in common, a gajillion similar interests, and we're both moms. By way of fair warning, I swear a whole lot, and I complain and flail and squee, and talk probably too much about sex. But also about my kids, and a lot about TV, and sometimes about work.

If you'd rather not do the friending thing, it's totally okay! No pressure. Just thought I'd man up (even if it's where my friends won't see it, ha) and say hi. :)
