Isreali planes have been dropping leaflettes over two Gaza towns stating that the military will soon attack populated centers. what does that mean exactly? they are just going to start killing people randomly? drop a few bombs and see what shakes out, or roll in and kill everything in their path, as they provided warning? a soldier is kidnapped so ( Read more... )

No, that's the way I've felt about Israel's policies for some time now. It's kind of sad when people can't admit that just because one side is wrong, doesn't mean the other one is automatically right and has carte blanche to do whatever they like.

And no, you aren't the reactionary one -- I've seen Socratic's knee-jerk flip-outs over several hotbutton topics like that, more than once before. Some people are too sensitive to be on the Internet.

I ran in to similar flames when I commented that Hamas is now a duly elected governing body and we have to get to the table with them and settle this shit once and for all.
