Went to the Ramada Plaza to sign the hotel contract and put down a deposit. We are now actual conrunners, not just posers. Then had dinner with marahsk, dlacey, and Catherine at El Trompo. Discussed SFContario and assorted future plans, including Midwest Construction 2013 in Windsor.

Afterwards, I said to Rob "I assume you already have plans, but we're going for dinner, you're welcome to join us". What actually happened is that while Rob apparently had no plans, everyone had plans for Rob.

Heh, and stuff like that is what I miss about hanging out with all of you.

I actually managed to watch Flashforward on an actual TV. It was after Thanksgiving "dinner", and Brice had fallen asleep, and his mom hadn't deleted everything yet. Remarkable coincidence, that.

Also, last week when I was scavenging for all my important documents, all in one place, of course, I couldn't find them for the life of me, but I stumbled into the book which Rob had autographed back in 2002 or something. So I reread it. Now I can see why some things were clearly changed for the TV series, and how some things kinda sorta stayed the same.

At some point before Capricon, I'm going to dig through my storage and see if I can find my stack of unautographed stuff. Sadly, it's all scattered about now, not organized in the slighest. I miss having my own place, with my own bookshelves. REALLY, I do. :(
