Harry Potter
Regulus Black, from Amber/
paper_rose16:
I don't have much personal canon for Marauder Era in general, as I usually avoid it whilst reading. I do believe, however:
1. Regulus discovered Horcruxes while researching Dark Magic, which he did because he had doubts about his desire to follow the Dark Lord and therefore tried to indoctrinate himself.
2. Before Regulus died, I believe his last thought was hope that his death would help his brother be safer from Voldemort.
3. Regulus never kissed a girl before he died.
My OTP - Katie Bell/Oliver Wood, from Ebil One/
ebilgatoloco:
I have two head canons for OliKate, which consist of how their relationship turned out in VoJP and then from In the Ashes. So, at Julia's suggestion, I will list both, starting with the first head canon I had for them, which was for VoJP. The In the Ashes head canon is very vague, as anything else would be spoilery, and they are about Oliver, as most of the story revolves around Katie.
1. Oliver and Katie began dating when Katie began working for Puddlemere United after she left Hogwarts. As her NEWT year was screwed up by Draco, she didn't have the qualifications to work in her first chosen career as an apothecary, so she chose her next love in Quidditch for employment, which was sorting the players' fanmail.
2. The first falter in their relationship was after the Battle was over. Draco, who was desperate for any goodwill he could find, approached Katie and apologised for what happened the year before. She accepted his olive branch but was surprised when he broke down as she was walking away. In a matter of minutes, she felt pity for Draco; in a matter of weeks and several well-meaning meetings later, she felt more. Oliver was her friend through all of this but had begun to want more. He pushed her to stop playing nursemaid to Draco, but she felt obligated to give him another chance at life. When things with Draco grew sour, Katie settled for Oliver eventually.
3. Katie and Oliver never had children together.
1. The first person Oliver owled to inform of his professional tryout contract with Puddlemere United was his mother; the second was Katie. He had fancied her a bit upon leaving Hogwarts, but he thought their age difference was not appropriate. He regretted this, and it was one of the driving forces that made him kiss her behind the Burrow at Fred's funeral.
2. Oliver was crushed when Katie told him she couldn't have kids. His own father had been gone from his life, and he had looked forward to proving to himself that he could be better than that.
3. The first thing that Oliver did when he realised that Katie was gone was to go to the nearest pub and drink himself unconscious. Luckily, one of his teammates was in the same pub and took him home before the press caught wind.
Scorpius Malfoy/Rose Weasley/Albus Potter, from Soraya/
soraya786:
Again, this has the potential for spoileriness, so these will be vague.
1. I quite fancy the idea of this love triangle thing.
2. Rose's first fantasy about being kissed involved her kissing Albus. She found this slightly disturbing so shoved it out of her mind.
3. After Collateral Damage, Albus and Scorpius casually dated for several months.
Albus Potter/Anne Black (OC), from Soraya/
soraya786:
1. Albus and Anne's first child was name Melissa. While she didn't inherit the Potter green eyes, she did get a mop of black hair.
2. During their sixty year marriage, Albus made three visits to St Mungo's for sex-related injuries, one of which involved an instance of biting. Anne does not play nice, and Al wouldn't have her any other way.
3. Upon learning that his dad had purposely burnt down his childhood home, Albus didn't speak to Harry for well over a month. It was Anne's urging and gift of strategy that reunited father and son, which, oddly enough, involved a box of sweets, a note, and a case of mistaken identity. :X
Teddy Lupin/Victoire Weasley, from Soraya/
soraya786:
I feel bad for this. Honestly I do. People shouldn't let me write stories sometimes. Therefore, I'm focusing on the earlier years of their relationship. It was a happier time before some mean old bitch decided that Teddy had to die.
1. Teddy, as a Prefect his fifth year, took ten points from Victoire (who was in the same house) for giving Hufflepuff Kevin Crabtree (who had earned her ire earlier that day by making fun of her being ginger) boils on his bum. However, later that week, Crabtree was seen with matching pustules on his hands, which popped during Potions class from the cauldron heat and ruined his potion. That ruined potion cost him fifteen points.
2. The notion of dating Victoire had never crolled Teddy's mind until he overheard her and another prefect, Tessa Vick out on patrol playing a rather raunchy round of 'Snog, Marry, Hex', in which Victoire and Tessa argued who would be better at kissing: Teddy or Bobby Coolidge (a rather buff and handsome sixth year boy). Embarrassed, Teddy fled before he could hear the results. Bobby Coolidge won.
3. Later that term, after his NEWT and her OWL exams were all but finished, Teddy found himself sitting in the Gryfindor common room next to Victoire on the sofa as they were both elbow deep in revision. However, when he stopped and thought about it, he realised that he barely knew her. That bothered him. Not sure why he was bothering, convinced she'd refuse, Teddy asked Victoire to the upcoming Hogsmeade weekend. She accepted.
James Sirius Potter/Augusta Longbottom (OC), from Soraya/
soraya786:
This one is hard. I'm trying not to repeat information already found in fic, but that's not easy.
1. James and Augusta honeymooned in Italy, where Augusta discovered her loathing for warm climates.
2. The beginning of James's Quidditch career marked the beginning of their relationship, and the end of that career marked the start of their marriage. It was only fitting that Augusta, upon her death, was buried with a Quaffle in her hands.
3. Their son, Eric, went on to work in the backroom of Flourish and Blott's as a typesetter. His desire was to tell his life story in the form of a book, but he never did get around to writing it.
Neville Longbottom, from Soraya/
soraya786:
1. Before accepting the position of Herbology professor from the retiring Pomona Sprout, Neville had already declined the position of Defense Against the Dark Arts professor twice, citing his reason as having had enough of mad wizards for a lifetime.
2. Neville briefly considered staying an Auror after his deputisation following the battle, but he hated the erratic schedule and was sure it would be the death of him mentally.
3. Upon the birth of the only child he and Hannah had, Neville was torn. While he wanted to name his daughter Alice after his mum, he felt odd about it because he didn't want her to bear that spectre once she learned the story behind her name. So, as a compromise, Hannah suggested that they name her Augusta, after Neville's gran. Knowing it would annoy his gran, who tended to dislike children, he agreed. Somehow, Augusta didn't dislike that certain child. Wonder why...
Bones
Jack Hodgins/Angela Montenegro, from Amber/
paper_rose16:
I don't know if I have personal canon for these two as a couple, since the show is still airing. Buuuut, I'll give it a shot.
1. Hodgins once asked Angela if she wanted to have a threesome. Angela told him he was beng an idiot.
2. Angela threatened Hodgins with a fork when he tried to change the channel during the season finale of Dancing with the Stars.
3. The randy couple learned their lesson after accidentally being caught on video messing around at the Jeffersonian. Nowadays, the old adage applies: when the janitorial closet is a-rockin', don't come a-knockin'.
Doctor Who
Martha Jones/Mickey Smith, from Minna/
minnabird:
1. I think both Mickey and Martha knew what it felt like to be the 'tin dog', both of them feeling like passengers on the Rose/Ten ship. It may have even given them something to bond over.
2. After joining Torchwood, Martha abandoned the thought of a normal life and left her sexy fiance. Mickey later accredited yet another ruined relationship to the Doctor. How was he to know it would be the beginning of another one.
3. Mickey first realised that he fancied Martha when she shot a weevil in the face before it could attack him. He thanked her, and she said, 'I've always got your back.'
Torchwood
Gwen Cooper/Owen Harper, from Minna/
minnabird*:
1. Owen was the mistake that Gwen needed to make. She felt so out of control of the things that happened with her job that she felt the need to govern at least a small part of it.
2. He found the gap between her front teeth oddly arousing.
3. Once Owen died, Gwen toyed with the idea of telling Rhys about her affair, since she never properly did confess. However, Ianto made an offhand comment about how well Gwen seemed to be handling the stress of juggling job and marriage and that he hoped she could give Jack incentive to settle down. Not wanting to shatter this image, she instead went home and shagged Rhys's brains out. From that point, she never thought about Owen in that way again and never mentioned her indiscretion.
