Top 5 favorite rare-pairs
5. Harry/Katie - Honestly, I have no idea why I like this ship. I don’t think I’ve ever read it outside of the little bit of it I wrote, but I’m holding out for the day I get to find it.
4. Oliver/Roxanne - Because I invented it practically. Duh.
3. Susan/Theo - As in Hannah / h_vic’s Scheherazade, I tend to think of Susan as a girl with an affinity for fixing broken things. In my brainiverse, Theo Sr dies in the battle, leaving a broken, confused, and outcast young man who the world hates for reasons he can barely fathom.
2. Draco/Katie - Blame Julia for this one. However, the idea that Katie can forgive Draco for what he had done to her via the necklace incident and even find it in herself to love him is one of the best makes me believe in good things. I don’t believe in good things often.
1. Katie/Oliver - Is this even a rarepair anymore? At any rate, I like that they can have a lot in common and maybe nothing at all, yet can still make things work because they know and understand one another enough to make it work.
Top Five Celebrities you love to hate
5. Lady Gaga - Because she is just a truly ridiculous human being masquerading as a monument to individuality. It really annoys me that so many people are striving to be ‘individuals’ because Gaga told them to. >.>
4. Britney Spears - How she can go from star to laughingstock and back to star simply boggles my mind. I stopped being interested in her with every garment she decided to forgo in public. It does not make her sexy; it makes her look like a flaming skank.
3. Paris Hilton - No one should be this publicly stupid. It simply cannot be allowed. I wouldn’t want my media outlets populated by vapid, empty-headed celebretards who can’t pry their faces from a bottle long enough to be a decent role model.
2. Sarah Palin - What is there not to hate about Sarah Palin? Seriously, I am NOT a political person, and I tend to think most politicians talk out of their asses, but she takes the freaking cake, mates. I think when I lost all respect for her was when a reporter asked her what sort of books she read and she snapped at them for asking her trick questions. I hope upon hope that she doesn’t run for President. We have had quite enough of embarrassing politicians.
1. The Kardashian sisters as a collective - Why the fuck are you famous? I don’t get it.
Top Five OTPs [any fandom]
5. Jack/Martha (Doctor Who) - I really wanted this one to happen.
4. Harry/Hermione (Harry Potter) - Do we really need to go into this? My appreciation for Harmony is well-documented, I think.
3. JD/Elliot (Scrubs) - How ridiculously cute are these two? You knew they’d always end up together, but somehow, watching them get there never got boring. ♥
2. Draco/Katie (Harry Potter) - This was the first non-canon pairing I ever wanted to happen with a passion. I shipped Draco/Katie before I shipped Harry/Hermione in a romantic sense. In a way, they are my original rarepair, and one day, I hope to tell their story.
1. Katie/Oliver (Harry Potter) - No idea how, but these two have stolen my heart in a way I can’t describe. As I’ve written them, I just get to know them more and more, like old friends. In a way, this pairing is a full-circle one for me, because Oliver chose second-year Katie Bell to be on his team because he saw something in her, and later in life, he saw something new (in my brainiverse, of course).
Top Five Cuisines ;)
I will preface by saying that I’m very uncultured and a stupidly picky eater. I haven’t had so many of the types of foods that you all have. That being said, I’m going to do TWO lists: Top Four Cuisines and Top Five Cuisines that I want to try.
Cuisines:
4. Mexican - Though I don’t eat much genuine Mexican foods, the mere existence of tamales warrants an appearance on this list.
3. Italian - I love pasta. I love pizza that wasn’t made on an assembly line. Alfredo sauce rocks my world.
2. Chinese - I admire the Chinese’s ability to make cabbage taste good in so many ways. Plus, the things they can do with rice is simply amazing. I love it.
1. American - I love my fried chicken strips and mashed potatoes and apple pie type things. It’s what I grew up with, and it’s what I will eat until I drop.
Cuisines I want to try (no explanation, as I really don’t know anything about them):
5. Japanese
4. French
3. Indian
2. Greek
1. Thai
