Rain
It looks like... the earth is taking a shower, but the water pressure doesn't always remain constant and eventually quits altogether. Sometimes it looks like the agape mouth of a lion, with incisors in the distance, visibly raining down with varying power and beauty. Other times it even looks like 2012, with lightning scorching the earth and thunder distressing it's permanent residents. But it mostly looks like a gracious gift from the creator of all things, who knows when to supply and when to withhold.
