Brody Jenner and Avril Lavigne were inseparable for the summer months, but people began to worry the couple may have split when she no-showed his birthday bash on August 27, says Star in a new report.
The tabloid learned the reason Avril didn't show up is because the couple has decided to call it quits.
“They had a major falling out around then and haven't seen each other since,” said an insider. “Brody says Avril wasn't really making time for him anymore, since she's been under pressure to get into the studio to work on her new CD.”
The couple each got a tattoo of the other's name, so some question whether the romance is over for good.
“Brody hopes they can patch things up once she's not so busy,” said the insider. “He wanted to marry her.”
