(no subject)
I got out of the mental health unit on Oct. 3rd, after a week and a 1/2.
Now at a care facility untill the new year, so my meds can be ironed out.
It's more like a nursing home, as I am one of a very few under 65 and the only one under 40.
No cable, just rabbit ears a.k.a antenna. And no internet, so I have to go the the public library in town to check e-mail, etc. I do this twice a week, so it's not too bad. It's just very boring, sitting around and nothing to do but read or watch TV. If it wasn't for my comp. and some PC games, I'd be bored out of my skull.
Fortunetly, a friend checks me out every few weeks, as well. So I get some contact w/folks closer to my own age.
A few days after the new year, I will no longer be funded to live there, so I am conisdering options. I could move to the small city 1/2 hour E, but, there's a 10 month waiting list for housing assistance.
Also, there's a friend in Ausin, Texas, who says she can put me up and help me find work.
I am heavily considering doing so, but, nothing is in stone yet. I've 2 weeks and 2 months do figure things out.
